Proves the anti-Trump bias that people have, that have been ingrained into people by fake news CNN and MSNBC.

Goes both ways though

Was happy to see their reactions after especially they guy talking about bias

They probably live in a bubble and don't hear both sides

Everyone does this with everything any president says. While amusing, nickelback is popular. Why would we expect good choices

We have quite a few of these mental gymnasts in the WR.

If you truly believe that the sky is blue and the ocean is wet, that view shouldn't change no matter who pointed that out. If you flip-flops on that basis alone, then you're only embarrassing yourself.

Note to self:

You don't have to speak to a camera just because the mic is placed in your face.

Also, when exiting the supermarket, you are under no obligation to sign a survey or petition from that 20 year old that places the clipboard in your face...even if you agree with the petition's position.

Guy shoved one in my face asking me to sign it and I was like "what's it for"

He started his response with a "uh" and I was like "nope, I ain't signing a clipboard for a guy that starts his response with "uh, um"

Pretty much setting yourself for humiliation. If you answer is on point, more likely you won't be seeing yourself in youtube. both sides do this. Simply don't answer. This is what happened with most Hillary supporters. They were so full of cockiness that they flat out thought there is no way she's going to lose...meanwhile every survey, most trump voters either keep their mouth shut or lie...that's why most of the 2016 election survey, Hillary was winning, until she lost.

This is what happens when students form their political opinions on social media.

They go around asking 200 people, get the dumbasses they need, then make a compilation of it.

The fact that so many of these dumbasses exist prove the videos point. Cheeky editing aside these are real people, and they represent a sizable portion of the population. These aren't simply cherry picked outliers.

I mean, context and intent matter. In these videos, context is being removed from the quotes, so the students are assuming Trump's usual intent/line of thought and imputing it to them.

So, it's dishonest, regardless of how uninformed the students may be.

I would hope that we can agree that these "gotcha" interviews with laymen are really fucking lame.

Cheeky editing is cherry picking.

If you want actual studies, there are plenty, and they show Trump voters by a significant margin are the low information individuals. But of course, that's "fake news!!"

Better to stick to amateur youtube videos and 4chan posts.

Gotta keep em dumb and misinformed to start their Communist revolution.

Not at all. There are countless of videos like this out there, from Jesse Waters to Mark Dice to the Squatting Slav. The point of these videos is to show people expressing their political beliefs in a candid situation. Editing doesn't change the fact that these are real people with real (stupid) beliefs, and they exist in hoards. Spend some time in CA and you'll see what I mean.

And if we're being fair, I never said this was unique to the left. There are just as many idiot neocons and cuckservatives who suffer from the same crippling cognitive dissonance. These are the follies of partisan politics being treated like a football game.

I never said Waters was an intellectual. I actually can't stand the guy, I was merely illustrating a point. That point being that, once again, these people represent a sizable portion of America.

Obama's foreign policy was always what I hated most about him, so it's not like the criticism is unfounded. I think the media avoided talking about it as much as they could during his years in office so it's not really associated with him. Trump campaigned on focusing on America first and pulling back our global interference, then he's having Twitter wars with nuclear powers and civilian deaths have gone up dramatically in the Middle East. So it's not that there's some media conspiracy against Trump, it's just people holding government more accountable like they should have done with Obama.
