Struve Eyepoked Stipe Twice

Two eye pokes, several unanswered punches and Stipe was jogging away from the strikes after springing up from a knee.

That's not a man knocked out, that's a man who deserves a five minute break.

I'm still glad this happened to Stipe because it seemed to have motivated him to fight how he is today.

Thoughts on the eye poke? Do you think Stipe would have recovered? With or without a 5 minute break?

This is in response to all the Fedor vs Stipe talk.

Read carefully, Fedor us my favorite fighter ever but his punchers chance is very low, still there but low.

Stipe is the best right now and may very well retire as the HW best.

As for a prime Fedor, we truly don't know how good he was or could have become because he never fought the likes of Cain and D.C.

If Stipe beats D.C. that will solidify his greatness as the best HW to me. For me to call Stipe the best ever in any weight class then he would need to beat Cain and or Jon Jone, imo.

I would also like to see him KO Struve for that crap TKO via Eyepokes.

It looked like he hesitated a double leg takedown attempt when he slipped, thus indicating that the eye was really affecting him. No one intelligently shoots a double leg THAT far away from someone unless out of desperation. Stipe wasn't even punched at that point, simply eye poked twice. Struve did that on purpose. How do I know? After the fingers to the eye, he saw Stipe whince in pain so he acts like he is jabbing Stipe and carefully rakes his left thumb into Stipe's eye again. I'm glad Struve is having all the issues he's having. It's justified.

Stipe should've took him down ... struve has terrible take-down defense. So he deserve the ko lost. Lee got spinning back kicked and was able to recover.

I admit that Stipe fought stupidly in this fight. Close the distance and it's over. He stood at firing range.

CV and DC are way better than prime Cro Cop and Prime Nog. They are complete fighters.

That's why I made this post. Stipe could easily keep Fedor at Bay and wobbled off of jabs alone. Fedor isn't the same. I made this post because people brought up Stipe's loss to Struve as evidence that Fedor can beat Stipe. Can and will are so different. I can best Fedor and Stipe at the same time, will I? No haha

So, with having said that, I posted this to show that Stipe did not get knockdk out by Struve but poked, dropped to one knee and the rest is history.
