He didn't take enough time off to recover and got sick again and again.
He definitely coughed blood, he even posted it on Instagram.
It's well publicized that he considered retiring due to the health issues he had after covid.
Dana flew him to USA for treatment, then he had treatment in Russia.
When he pulled out before the first Whittaker, he was hospitalized yet again.
Before their fight in October, he was open about his body breaking down during camps due to inadequate recovery, etc, and had no issues in the months leading up to that fight.
It's not like he has been pulling out for nonsense reasons like a broken toe a la Conor.
It's also really odd to me how angry people seem to be at him for having health issues, it's probably not intentional.
