There are legs to this rumor. Dricus already responded to it. He said, he is not fighting anyone except Khamzat. If he has to wait, he is willing to wait. He is locked in on Khamzat and wants to only fight the top contender. He said, Imavov has a terrible pull out history. Something like 6 pull outs and 8 fights. He does not want to fight Imavov unless Khamzat pulls out on about 1 or 2 weeks out from the fight. This is his way of guaranteeing he will fight when he is supposed to. If it is something like 4 weeks or longer then Dricus said he will wait for Khamzat to get healthy and then have the fight rescheduled.

Still, Dricus said he wants Khamzat since that is the only fight that interests him.
