Strength in Interesting Places

^ Looks great man. I may give it a go once I'm done with all this ridiculous cardio I'm doing.

It is- I'm looking forward to my next workout. Even though my legs are totally fried.

It would be great if you were doing this too- we could reignite our sporting rivalry. When are you done with the triathlon? I think I asked before, but my brain doesn't retain information about things that are cardio-related. :)

Sounds good to me. And I saw your post about 1500m... our tracks are 400m here. Are yours something different?

Done with tri on Oct. 15th.

Jaunty, new program looks cool. Seems like T3 is giving the Juggernaut Method some competition for being the current "cool" program.

Right now I think only three people are using T3- Artigo, me and one other (maybe CRZA, can't remember). But who knows, it might pick up some steam.

Really, it is somewhere between a whole programme, and something like Smolov/Smolov Jr. It seems that you're not supposed to programme all your lifts through it, so you put together a basic template of lifts that will be done through T3, and then other lifts that are done in other ways (although of course unlike S & SJ, you can do T3 continuously for some time). I sort of like that, because you need to tinker a little to pull it all together.

No tracks in Kabul, just a treadmill. 1500m just grabbed me because

1) It is proper event/competition
2) I like cardio that can be done in 5-10 minute windows (obviously, 1500m will not be too close to either 5 minutes or 10 minutes- it will be somewhere in the middle)
3) When I did running at school, I was actually pretty strong over a mile
4) I like how it feels to run at the sort of speeds I could probably manage for 1500m once I get back into shape- half way between a jog and a sprint

More ethnic equality!

MIDMO posts a lot of Japanese girls, and I have been posting a lot of Thai girls. But what about Asia and the world's largest country? What about the Chinese? They deserve representation. Especially for a largely US market, anti-Chinese sentiment may be turning people against their hotties.

So I present for you three pics of lovely Chinese ladies, for your enjoyment:

Wow. Nice pics of Chinese girls! (especially #3)

Although I keep coming back to the 2nd blonde in the earlier post. Something about her just grabs me. She looks so smart, I guess.

Who doesn't love an intellectual woman? Case in point:

I post all sorts of AZNs. In fact I spent a week featuring the All AzN Water Aerobics Team. Almost every country was represented including India.

I apologize, MIDMO- clearly I have seriously under-represented how inclusive you are in your coverage of Asians. I know that you also do a lot of work to publicize various humanitarian crises that afflict the Asian populace especially (lack of food, lack of clothing, vulnerability to water-based natural disasters, etc). I take my hat off to you.

Managed to do some conditioning

C2 rower sprints
-2000m
-1.5 mins slow/1 min fast
- Time 11.00

Barbell curls and ab work
- 38kg barbell bicep curls (3x10)
- One round of abs purgatory (only upto 6 reps) and one plank (1 minute) in the rests

C2 rower sprints
-2000m
-1.5 mins slow/1 min fast
- Time 10.40

* * * *
- It was super-athletic because I did bicep curls, the most athletic exercise, for sets of 10, the most athletic rep range. These were the heaviest curls I've ever done, too. They were difficult.
- First time I have done 2 sprint sessions on the C2. Still not very fast- it was hard for me to maintain close to 2:00/500m, although that was partly because on the first time, the machine was sliding on the carpet and it was distracting. Would have been better if I had had a smaller, timed rest between then.
- They were fixing the treadmills while I was up there just now. Tomorrow is complete rest, next week I will start training 1500m.

here is a gif, that shows what might happen to your chest, if you are eating too much and forget to take your fatburner:

That is a very useful GIF. It will be very helpful when planning my workout and supplementation regime.
