To be honest @Cyke_out, the stick has improved my game by leaps and bounds and I have had it a total of 7 months. It took about two weeks to start falling into good mechanics, but using a pad now feels very foreign to me. I would at least try the HoriRAP4 with the $145 price tag. You can always sell it on ebay if you don't like it. At least you'll know.

You can also play some PS+ games on it seeing as though many of them are indies.
 
Does Ranked mode have some formula to know if you've been doing well recently or something? My LP started at like 1100 today and I got mathed up with Super Bronze (1500+) and Ultra Bronze and Silver the entire time. Think I ended around 1100

I was at 900lp and was matched with people with well over 1400 last night. I have no idea what's going on.

I'll be on at 6:00pm pst for anyone who is down.

I haven't done tons of Ranked matches but it seems like one day I'll be matched up against guys around my LP and even lower then I do very well. Next day I get people on the far end of my rank or 500+ above. Like wtf mang.

I don't mind getting trown in there with Ultra Bronze and up but it's just weird that I get so many consecutive sometimes and then other days I won't see anyone that has above 200LP than me
 
yeah think I'm going to have to pick up the horirap4 as well, having some issues with my fight pad. it just doesn't feel the same as the arcade sticks.
 
On now if anyone wants to bang...or play SF
 
Hit Bronze after playing some ranked. I think I may start playing around with FANG. Seems like a unique character.

If anyone knows an easier way to record videos, I'd love to hear it. Using Nvidia Shadowplay for this video and it kinda sucks.
 
the brackets are catching up to me.. Im trying to fix my laptop.. it was good when i left it some weeks ago, now its running sf5 at 10-20 fps..

Maybe i can play wed/thursday if onion/ocsherlock settle their dispute

I have a sf4 te madcatz stick. I use it for soul calibur and virtua fighter. For a long time, back in the early 2000's , those were my main games. I was living in the bay area in cali and was 20 years old so I had plenty of time to go to arcades. I learned those games on sticks which is way better because they both use a block button.

But I learned 2d capcom fighters on Saturn that had 6 face buttons and two triggers.

And I play tekken with a ps pad.

I'm all over the place.

But still, if guys like smug, snakeeyes, and luffy can wreck with a pad, anyone can. Use what works for you.

Snake eyez 3 in a row on WNF. Nice to see the guy playing Birdie make it to the finals 2 in a row as well.

Losing 15 in a row hurts, but in my defense I was about 8beers and a quarter of a bottle of tequila Dee.
