Just had my first rage quit. Beat him with a combo into vtrigger into CA . He so mad lol
 
Sorry for spamming that combo ending in CA on you @CubicleGangster I just started doing it today so I wanted to keep practicing it. I was also hitting the cr.mk->hadouken much more often than usual.

All good, it's a nice combo. I've been mainly focusing on just using my normals and special moves to win. I keep forgetting to use my TC.

I still don't know what my vTrigger actually does lol. One thing I noticed was that you weren't blocking the crossups very often. Whenever I see someone pretty close to me jump and I'm not ready to anti-air i just prepare to block the crossup. I got a lot of free damage from that

Yeah I fucked that up every time. I kept trying to use my DP in that situation.
 
What's up with all the losers doing the same old shit with ryu and ken?

Seriously, take a risk people. Try a new character rather than repeating fireball -> shoryuken and the punch-uppercut combos over and over.

These are the people who also do the tap-throw more than any other.

I will tick throw like a mother fucker without even blinking. I have to. I use bison. He has no overheads. So I have to find some way to get my damage vs opponent's that just hold down back. It's all about the frame trap/ throw mix up.

Same I throw like crazy with Rashid. I've tried to figure out other ways in training mode but throwing just works the best and does a good amount of damage.
 
I am absolutely terrible at performing my specials when facing left. My CA hado feels so damn clunky and I pull it off maybe 1 out of 10 times. Also, watching top players I've realized that very few times they drop a hit confirm combo. The timing of that shit is insane. Setting the CPU to random should help me out, but damn it's going to take a lot of work to get my reaction time up to speed.

Still have trouble with my cr.HP xx DP. 9 out of 10 times I do a cr.HP xx Hado instead and it sucks. Any advice?

st.LK xx DP has been coming along nicely.

Nothing wrong with that. Tick throw has always been there and it's no where near as bad as in the early SFs and XvSF.

easiest way is to hit punch as you move from Forward to Down/Forward and hold it. Let go of punch when you move back to forward.

So letting go of punch performs a second hit? I thought you had hit punch twice. Def going to try this.

I have like five years with a stick. Left is still a bitch. I have to accentuate the motion like a madman
