Street Fighter V v2: PS4 and PC ONLY

That's exactly how I use the training function, but it's so much deeper. The block options alone are really amazing features. That's really going to help my game and the way he explained how to use the 'counter' options was also really awesome. Really great stuff and should help anyone out. I missed the more advanced stuff, but I'll be checking it out later tonight. All about dem Hit Confirms!

I'll need to check this out. Thanks!

Gg Cyke.

He is being very polite with that description haha

I've been doing alright in ranked matches so far, except against Ryu. I can't even have a close match against a Ryu, it's usually just a one sided beating.

Smart Ryu's are tough for me too. I think it's because he has tools for pretyt much everything. I use Laura so I can't really win the projectile battle and up close I don't feel like I really have an advantage either.

I'm on PC. Although my user name, vdawg77, doesn't pop up when searched.
what's your steam ID?

My name on Steam is Terry Hunter. Not sure if that means that's my steam ID. I am on ohflow's and Gref's friend list so you can find me on there too lol.

I'm having a tough time doing cr.LK -> hadouken for some reason and it's very aggravating . I can do it in practice mode 100% of the time. In actually matches I probably have a 10% success rate even if I tell myself I'm going to do it I still fuck it up in matches. I think I am inputting it too fast during the matches (the move doesn't come out after the cr.MK so I am guessing that means it was input too fast/didn't do the quarter-circle completely). Very frustrating when I lose a match when the opponent has like 15-20% health left as I know if I landed it more consistently I probably would have won

Also, I want some god damn alt costumes.

Bolded for da truth.

But seriously he seems to have an answer for everything I try, and I keep failing to take full advantage of my CCs. I can usually get past his projectile's using Necalli's slash but I usually end up doing something unsafe and paying for it. Once I get better at punishing when I connect his HP Crush counter I'll have a much better time with the match up.

How my mind works playing ranked

Ok, he blocked, I'm +3! Gonna set up some frames traps...... ouch, he just dp'ed me.

Ok, he blocked again, he is gonna dp again. Ok blocked it. Time for my punish!

Good now I taught him to just block. Finally I can start my pressure... What? He dp'ed againn?!?!

Fine, I'll just block and let him die from dp punishes... he threw me? He threw out of -3! Who does that? Is he a scrub or a genius on 3rd level yomi... maybe I'm the scrub...

You should record Ryu in training to shoot a fireball at you and the practice your punishes after that. All about those hit confirms. Watching that video on training has opened up a whole new world of SF for me.

I know I'll be working to punish @Gref's Necalli stomp. It also helps you learn frame data and specific fighter punishes. Also have your attack data on. If it's hard to read the inputs, hit down a bunch of times before you start your combo. It goes from top to bottom. For example, I've had a hard time hitting tatsu off of st.lk but once I saw where I had to input the kick button my timing got way better. Learn to use the tools provided. Turn off fight request and practice.
