Strategies to revive the UFC

- Cut women’s mma
- higher standard of signings to the UFC
- 165 and 175 weight class
- Leave ESPN
- Kick Dana Pink out
- get out of the Apex
- stop collabing with e-celebs
- have a development league where cut fighters can work their way back into the UFC or not.

The presentation has become exceedingly monotonous, and there is a significant lack of stars. Additionally, there is a trend toward inflation and dilution of card quality in favor of quantity. It has become very challenging to follow the divisions because there are too many fights spread across too many cards. Far too often, I simply don't know who I'm watching, let alone why I should care.

Narratives create hype, and there is no narrative building left. Every card feels the same.

They need to reduce the number of fighters per division, build narratives where rivalries make sense, and highlight the fighters and contenders more distinctly so that people actually care. You can't create stars out of thin air, but you can at least try to work with what you have. I have lost interest in the sport almost completely.

A tournament with a fresh coat of paint would help bring new life to a stale product.

Additionally, they must invest seriously in the heavier divisions to attract better-caliber athletes. It's insane that in 2025, people like Tai Tuivasa, Derrick Lewis, and Volkov are at the top.
Lol. Tuivasa isn’t at the top. He’s lost his last 5 fights, 4 of them by stoppage.

Lewis has the most knockouts in UFC history. He can put the lights out on anyone. He deserves to be at the top.

And Volkov is f*ckin great fighter. I don’t know what you might have against him.

Generally, I think the UFC is doing just fine, but few things should be improved though.

- make a separate WMMA league and bring only the title fights on UFC cards

- no more Apex fight night cards

- make stricter and more transparent rules on how often and against whom the champ must defend his title against. Jones situation is absurd

Create their own B league.

Lot of suggestions to cut the roster and I agree but I think they should be developing their own "minor league" to do so. Start regional leagues with regional champs, build stars in their respective areas. Make the PPV's (or big events) out of the top 10 only. If you get knocked out of the top 10 then its back to the minors.

Outdoors in Florida with no cover over the octagon. Let's see how the "best fighters on the planet" deal with the afternoon thunderstorms.
Mosquitos via submission (if there's no time limits)

1. Remove Dana
2. New matchmaking team
3. 5 judges
4. Remove all the judges responsible for well known robberies
5. Ban extreme weight cutting a-la One
6. Cut the roster in half
7. You defend or get stripped.

The general consensus seems to be that the UFC has fallen on hard times lately. We all know it... The UFC knows it... So what, in your opinion, would the UFC need to do to reverse course? Here are my suggestions:

- Leave ESPN

The app is terrible. The UFC should pursue other avenues like Amazon or Netflix.

- Limit WMMA

The UFC should start another league exclusively for WMMA. The ladies just dont enough talent to put 2-3 fights on every card.

- Better time management

UFC events are way too long. Trimming some of the excess fat would result in a better product.

Your suggestions?
WMMA is needed to fill so many (too many) cards. Less cards to put on fewer but better cards. Cut down the number of rematches. Cut down the repeat title shots = Colby. Strip “champs” that tie up division = Jones.

It’s as simple as investing to bring in actual talent around the world and not just contender series bums. The promotion is watered down to the extreme

Obviously dissolve WMMA or sell it to invicta

- Fire the following people:
  • Dana White
  • Hunter Campbell
  • Sean Shelby
  • Mick Maynard
  • Joe Rogan
  • Daniel Cormier
  • Michael Bisping
  • Paul Felder
- Dissolve TKO Holdings

- Cut 60% of the roster

- Reduce PPV prices by 65%

- Have 2 events per month

- Allow all PEDs
yea and fuckin move it to japan while we're at it

Dhagis and Chechyans gonna have to start naming or nicknaming theirs kids Ivan, Vlad, Boris, Drago whatever to get the name recognition/casual fan/female interest. Hate to be a jingoist but thats just how people in the west think. Back in the day, nightclubs would be full to the brim when a big fight was on between a St Pierre vs Hughes etc. Fedor vs whomever. Chicks knew who they were and that makes it alot more popular when your girl wants to go out Sat night to a place showing the fights as well.

Now a days, find me a chick who knows Khabibs boys, or even Khamzat, Anakolov etc . Its hard to market and keep names/faces in place to the casual. Ever heard of Ben Mileikowsky or Thomas Mapother IV? Thats Bibi Netanyahu and Tom cruise.

Diehards will retain interest whatever the name but my girl still talks about Sakuraba the 'Gracie killer' vs Rampage Jackson then anything current. Pride had better presentation also so could sell the foreign sounding names better

They should do a cameo in teh new Naked Gun movie... Oh, never mind.
