Been reading through the reaction threads to Bisping vs Silva and you know what I disgusted by the responses.

The excuses are pathetic, let's list a few.

Anderson wasn't trying or being serious.
Judges robbed Anderson.
Anderson lost due to physical decline.

Now let's look at why they are bullshit.

Anderson was being serious but Bisping is stylistically problematic match up for Anderson as he refused to be baited into over committing which limits counter strike opportunities. He also did land some good shots he hurt Bisping very badly but it happened at the end of the round.

Judges robbery, Bisping clearly the frst two rounds he out worked Anderson in round one and dropped him in round two, round three goes to Anderson for the near finish, round four Anderson lost because he was defensive almost the entire round while Bisping got busy and recovered to push the pace, round five goes to Anderson he hurt Bisping but did not I'd to enough to score a 10 -8. The judges got this one right, 48-47 Bisping wins rounds 1, 2 and 4 to get the decision.

Physical decline this is not something exclusive to Anderson himself, even Bisping has shown to slow down as he is getting up there in age himself at 36, also let's not forget Anderson is a known PED cheat and I think we can agree that now he is clean this will affect his performance as he is now not using illegal substances to boost his performance.

These kind of excuses are incredibly disrespectful to both men, for once I would like sherdog to show some respect to both men.

Some of you show extreme levels of immaturity when it comes to you favourite fighters losing, guess what no fighter is unbeatable they all lose at some time.

I don't, he could have cycling his steroids since he got popped and gotten away with it, but I imagine that's harder to do now as he will be tested more frequently following getting busted.

Bisping fought better that night. Anderson tried to find him and couldn't. Simply.

His trainer said that the he felt he broke his shin in the first round.

I felt Anderson won but I have never gotten over Pride FC and I still judge fights by Pride standards.

But I hate that people keep arguing how Anderson Silva beat Anderson Silva. Bisping beat Silva and it was for the reasons you mentioned. Bisping didn't throw any wild or power punches the entire fight, which is why he never hurt Silva, he fought the smart game plan to win the only way he could -- outworking Silva and getting the decision. That's why Silva had a hard time pressing the fight, he didn't have enough chances to counter and he wasn't conditioned well enough, or had the confidence (it's just not his style, and after his loss to Weidman he still hasn't gotten his mojo back. He himself said this is a test for him), to chase after Bisping.
