I am super tempted to start a position in NIO but I cannot justify to buy at these levels, but I was saying that at $20 lol

Watching all these horribly misleading political ads while trying to follow market coverage is ruining my enjoyment of the week bigly. If I have to hear another paid actor pretend they're gonna die of liver failure if DaVita has to pay some dialysis fee...
 
so i decided to tighten up with the ERs/PRs/election... and now i'm just kinda bored.
 
I am the boomer stock king. $F has been putting in some work the last 3 months for me(I am in at $5.25). Like $GE they were a long term play for me, hoping they bring back the dividend.
 
IPOB paid nicely today. Sold at 8% gain.

HYLN hammered again lol.

Sitting almost half cash now until election day. Starting to see the cracks in the market with election looming and no stimulus.

at bell I buy some Parsley Energy predicting a buy announcement and minipop I can flip. It falls instead despite me predicting the event.
Meanwhile I buy some Gan at the bell on pure chart guesswork thinking I'm an idiot. Up 3% ah on no news.

Lockheed Martin LMT beat on both EPS and revenue today, raised dividend 8.3%, upped guidance and the stock dropped 3%.

Some investors appear to have this idea that if Biden is elected, it won't be beneficial for LMT (a huge portion of their revenue is tied to US government contracts). Which seems odd considering how well the company did under Obama. IMO they're going to do well regardless of who wins. I'm backing up the truck.

yeah, i chuckled at that result. debated going in, then decided to keep playing tight. if rtx drops similarly, i'll make some moves on that. i like lockheed more, but rtx has better options plays, unfortunately.
 
Snap rips +20% premarket, some impressive numbers there. Other social media stock is up as well. Could do well tomorrow.

the market's wacky today.

at 10am, 95% of my watchlist was red and the market was up. now the market's flat and obviously, the list looks worse.

on one hand, glad i'm holding uvxy. on the other... i wish i was holding more.
