I think like Apple the Tesla split is brilliant. I have Apple stock but no Tesla.
Most small time investors are not savvy enough to realize if you have 100 shares of a $1 stock or 1 share of a $100 stock and they both go up 20% you have the same amount of money.
So when the Stock Bros see Tesla (hopefully Apple) at the lower price they will think its time to get in at the lower price.
I thought for a while that the split was dead because of fractional shares and companies liked the prestige of the higher stock price. I think when some companies see the increase after the split it will start making a comeback.

Right, which is why it went up 20% in 30 hrs. That baked in all the idiots and I picked another predictable numerical place to flip some shares short intraday.

Shorting Apple yesterday afternoon off the Epic Games Fortnite protest into a likely down day on the markets is the easiest/safest I've slept overnight with over 20% of my portfolio on something lol

That’s what I was thinking. If you tell any seasoned investor, Hey I bought some Sorrento their first words are be careful. Not sure if I can figure out the motivation of this suit. Seems like they are asking for more trouble.
