Economy stonks v8, the wrath of icahn

Autist call: CCX
Spac was rumored to have a merger like 2 months ago with TopGolf but bled off 10% since then and back to its safe $10 spac entry price. I see almost zero downside since SPACs can return their full $10 if they dissolve, but 20-100% upside.

AVGO has had a nice run right before earnings. Hopefully that continues after tomorrow.
I'm actually going to short a small amount as it has tended to sell off slightly on earnings. Nothing too greedy but just a small hunch wager.

They usually undersell they're earnings on their conference call so there's definitely going to be an opportunity for a little pull back.

401K inching closer to double digit YTD growth...at 9.2%....not regretting pulling 1/2 out shortly after WuFlu hit...will prolly have some regret when i pay the tax bill...

buy ~9.2% worth of options. either make a ton more to cover the tax bill or just lose ~9.2% and don't owe taxes.

win-win!

Well you now have working capital. Enjoy the freedom and make smart moves with it rather than regretting something that youd have to pay eventually.

Unrelated: Why did I close my Home Group short for 10% when it ended up tanking 28%? lol Also that GSX short I took 3% on would now be 45% in just 2 weeks -_-

lolz, i put in a limit order in the middle of bid: ask and it ran right above it. then placed a 2nd one... and still moved over it.

im watching Portnoy on Fox Business. It's so grimey pumpy and a bunch of 20-something bros sending in video questions sucking him off.

yep, let it ride in its funds for the next 10 years with some tweaking here and there...

can't help you on the 2nd part of your post...i retired from my amateur day trading job after i STUPIDLY lost $300K on NetApp...in late 02/03

huh, surprised intc didn't drop back to ~50.50ish. their "launch" event was a disaster. and it's not even a launch (no dates, no prices, no real benchmarks, no questions/answers)
