Economy stonks v18, stimutacs

Jesus christ FTCV roared back today. Wild amounts of love for shitty retail trading apps.

lol criticizing other companies for turning down military work and still paying taxes as unamerican, then running off to avoid taxes with his company while citing political disagreement as the reason...
Federal taxes is not state taxes

Soyifornia doesn't pay for our boys in green to bomb camel jockeys

Nobody should pay a dime to Soyifornia, giving them money is unamerican

this guy's a retard. (ex-blackrock asshat on cnbc)

solar/wind power is up bigly, solar's expected to quadruple by 2030, and this guy's calling it a placebo.

lmao former BlackRock guy WRECKS the industry on CNBC and host goes "without naming any names..." after asking the PLTR guy in the last segment "can you name any names?" rofl.

right but that doesnt mean theyre in line with environmental impact.
You think enphase has contributed 30 bil to the world's climate change?

i was just about to edit a joke about that into my post. cnbc is dildos.

i don't know what your question is supposed to mean.

carbon taxes factually don't do shit about climate change, either - they just give $ to governments.

the asshat claimed that selling stock of companies that are shit environmentally to buy green companies doesn't change anything - it's kind of an asinine statement to make. unless he also doesn't think that supply/demand is a thing...

His argument (one I generally disagree with for the record) is that the placebo effect is so significant that it actually does harm because it stops people with good intentions from doing real good when they wrongly think they're already moving things in the right direction. I think he said specifically the way the time windows vis a vis profitability vs impact etc when it comes to corporations make it so they're always gonna chase short term benefits vs longer term environmental changes for the positive.

Again, I mostly disagree but logically it's not a bad argument by him.

if he truly cared about climate change, he would have encouraged people to go vegan/stop factory farming/buy local/etc. instead, he encouraged the al gore/kyoto era sham of carbon tax (and methane is wayyyyyy worse than co2, anyway).

his argument about stocks was just retarded. if people sold tesla/fcel/etc instead of buying the crap out of them to retarded degrees, they probably would have folded/been bought out. instead, they got crazy market caps which allowed them to do whatever. ie: it was clearly effective, despite the guy's claim.

most people are just tards who want to pat themselves on the back, and that's all they'd ever do, regardless. no one truly having good intentions/etc is going to stop giving a fuck because they bought a share of plug (lolz).

lmao PLUG tanking

yeah, lolz @ that one (redoing ER)

and NPA sent me voting mats. i guess they're trying to dilute, already. heads up. i'm not sure if this was already known or not, though.

Lucid on mad money. Was hardly impressive or anything learned new zzZzzz

Probably dumps tomorrow.

This could be a rocky week depending on what is said and done at the Fed Reserve meeting tomorrow. If tech and crypto stocks take another big hit this could be a good buying opportunity. On a good note I'm happy I sold all instead of half of my MOGO at $10.50 yesterday. Wasn't a huge position, but I'll gladly take my profits.

Admittedly I didn't hear the whole thing. I didn't know he was pushing carbon tax or anything else. I'm only saying that in a generic sense his argument that people thinking they're doing good if they aren't is more harmful than if they didn't think they were doing good at all.

On the specifics, I'm sure I likely agree with you way more than not.
