My buddy in Vegas does not go to weed stores, he buys from a dude that delivers and its cheaper than weed store, with delivery. I am sure that goes on everywhere.
So unless the government comes down hard on local dealers, weed shops will lose out.

I'm really afraid they will and make the barriers to entry high.

GRWG I just don't see any fucking moat lol. Nobody who goes to a weed store for supplies needs special advice. They need low margin best price.
 
The only weed stock I'm in is HITIF as a high risk move. I plan to keep holding until the reverse split happens to get put on the Nasdaq to see what happens.

No clue what's going to happen with all the weed stock hype, but definitely a high risk industry.

Hence why it’s been illegal for as long as it has. There’s not an efficient way to ensure regulation (control) the market

What they’ll most likely do is make the licensing so astronomically high that only those with high commercial type sales will be able to play

can you grow it yourself? as long as you're using good seeds, your tree should yield pretty good.

I never understood the appeal of buying super expensive weed, when growing it is not difficult and a lifelong learning experience.

As someone who has smoked more weed than 99% of people I can assure you that growing it is a pain in the ass and not worth it outside of hobbyist activity.

Oregon is best: with requirements for testing and safe cultivation but no limit on how many people can do it commercially.
There are simply too many weed variants out there both in terms of strains/types and derivative products like edibles, topicals, concentrated tinctures etc...

Much like bodybuilders that eat egg yolks all day don't run chicken coops.
 
probably a 'mistake,' but i just sold the rest of the amd/semi calls i bought last week.

they'll probably still gain, but whatever. i made a good chunk and i have shares on them all, anyway.

re: weed

a neighbor behind me clearly grows it (i mean, at night it's lit up and more visible than the bat signal). he's also a complete moron. he also loudly (we're not in the same building or next door neighbors, he's on an adjacent street and lives in the back, so his place is like 100 feet behind me, past a backyard) bragged about having an ar15 (to the ups guy), so i'm kind of amazed that i never heard shots fired from people robbing him (or attempting to)... but i guess that just illustrates just how plentiful drugs are here. an obvious mark never got targeted... in a city that publicly stated they're not going to make arrests for burglaries. shit must be literally everywhere.
 
I think I'm jumping back in on VTSI. Set a small limit order at 5.55 for now which is about 7.5% below the recent offering price.

first of all, you must have zero green thumb not to be able to grow weed, if you can figure how to grow tomatoes, you can grow weed. Secondly, a chicken coup is super simple as well, people dont bother because eggs are cheap AF.

if pot was cheap like tobacco, then sure, no reason to grow, but it's not, it can be a very expensive hobby. it's all relative to price. if you go through a gram or two a day....... should probably grow it. otherwise, buy it.

Before the pandemic I was on like 100 flights a year; I'm not spending my day on veg cycles and Ph levels to get a high quality product in unlimited supply when there are stores that can get me any number of different strains or consumption choices. In Oregon you can get solid over the counter weed for $5/gram

Input costs + time + finite output makes it a loser bet unless you know a bunch of other people to process and trade types with.
It's like saying people who eat salads daily should just grow their own vegetables.
