It "works". But if you the stock makes big movements, you can miss out on a lot of the profit. Its a good way to generate steady income on your portfolio, and the downside is that you don't profit much on gaps.

It's what I have done before. It's like a extra divided selling OTM calls.

I managed to flip some Moderna that CNBC broke news on, so I won't be too upset. Hope TSLA opens above 700 Monday for the shortfest to begin.

There are huge parties going on in Wuhan and things are back to normal. I’ll bounce on any drops on the airlines. I think the hysteria is at an all time high for the next 28 days max.
 
My wife and I each put $100 in individual robinhood accounts on July 23rd to experiment with individual stocks and mine's currently at $144.87 and hers is around $155 (she got a bunch of free stock getting friends to signup so we are just about even if we subtract her free stock). I can see how people get addicted to investing on individual stocks, i can also see how it could be a disaster and recognize i don't have the mentality to do it for real.
