Economy Stocks thread v28: in loving memory of Rob Mafia and Brackis1

I asked ChatGPT to analyze the popular Quantum Stocks:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Valuation Alignment

📈 Risk / Reward Balance

CompanyUpside PotentialDownside RiskKey Sensitivity
RGTI⚪ Moderate🔴 HighRevenue scaling + dilution
IONQ🟢 Strong🟡 ModerateExecution speed + partnerships
QBTS🟡 Moderate⚪ ModerateCustomer retention + adoption
QUBT⚪ Low🔴 Very HighTech validation + revenue proof
Infleqtion🟢 High🟡 ModerateSPAC closure + contract conversion

🧠 Summary

  • Most over-valued vs fundamentals: RGTI, QUBT
  • Most balanced risk/reward: Infleqtion, QBTS
  • Most established: IONQ (but also highly priced)
  • Most optionality (asymmetric upside): Infleqtion — priced for base case, but potentially 5–6× upside if it hits $400 M in revenue
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RGTI is my largest position by far and the returns since April and May have been life changing. The risk/reward doesn't make sense for me anymore so I'm going to move on to different companies in the quantum sphere.

I didn't think RGTI could go much higher but it proved me wrong again, I think it was just under $40 when I posted the above and now it's $47. Infleqtion (CCCX) is now $24.5, and it was $14.50 at the time.
Trump should push valuations even higher:

Reports: White House Prepares Executive Actions on Quantum Tech and Post-Quantum Cybersecurity

Trumps PQC Push Could Boost IBM, Google, NVIDIA & Quantum Pure Plays

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trumps-pqc-push-could-boost-190000568.html

Nextgov, in this regard, reported that the White House is drafting up to three executive orders focused on quantum information sciences and the migration to post-quantum cryptography (PQC). Quantum Insider noted that these actions would extend the momentum from the 2018 NQIA, which expired in 2023, thereby setting migration timelines for agencies and contractors.

Guess they realize TSLA will beat them out
They will

Try driving an EV by hyundai or gm, then try a tesla, they will dominate because they understand the concept of a software defined vehicle better than anyone, and contrary to the opinion that others are catching up, tesla is expanding its lead in tech everyday, these legacy automakers don’t know how to run software companies no matter how many engineers they throw at the issue.

TSLA will win the robotaxi war. Because they are a software company that makes cars. They have a massive fleet feeding them data everyday 24/7.

They have AI that is learning from the fleet out in the real world.

Legacy auto can barely get infotainment software right

They also are the only manufacturer in this space that is serious.

Bro, sodium batteries will be a thing. They are already here... in China. Elon doesn't want anyone to own a car. You summon a Tesla. All trucking autonomous. The frightening control this could give bad actors is
.. gross

AI requires power what are your thoughts on OKLO? I almost bought in January
.

Maybe we can finally harness the power of all them salty ass internet tears, I wonder if thats the real reason why Leon bought Twitter

Fuck. OKLO popped for almost 9% today. Almost 600% YTD.
Last I did a deeper dive into them, which wasn't all that long ago, only a few weeks - so It's probably unlikely anything significant has changed - their entire value basically rests on a concept for something which doesn't exist. They have never even really demonstrated that they can actually bring it into existence.

They have concepts of a plan, basically. No product. No prototype. That don't have anything to show, but they've got a $20 billion market cap? That seems outrageous.

Woah baby. What a beautiful day this was. Trump is back to old antics, you cannot change the spots on a leopard!

I guess a good time to buy some leveraged QQQ shares
