lol fuck me tried a quick flip on AMRS on a CNBC pump (absurdly sketch CBD sham stock I'd traded once before and made 5% but almost lost 30%). broker sold it for no gain and then it ran 12% in 2 minutes...

i did mostly nothing. was down 3% mid-day but ended up plus ~1% on little activity. sold some minor contracts and then bought them back, anyway.

then the whitest guy i've ever seen bitches about facebook and says they're making money off black culture and black people from facebook should leave and give this white guy money so he can make a facebook clone.

what in the actual hell. cnbc has always been bad, but this is just absurd and hilariously tone deaf/deluded. a bunch of white guys complaining about white guys and asking black people for money. weird way to coordinate a short of facebook...

and lolz, amc announces bankrupcy is a very serious possibility and they need to open/get $ pronto... (after their stock went from $2-5.50)... and the sp still climbs.

meanwhile, tech/semis down/flattish all week (not that surprisin given their run up, but they're sales/etc are strong as fuck right now and will be in q3/q4...)

except that's not what's been happening. in philly, the looters don't give a fuck who owns the buildings. hell, some of the business owners have been viciously attacked. did i mention a lot of the beaten owners are black? because apparently that matters. because apparently this is race-based.

nail salons, restaurants (especially chinese and indian), and corner stores (soooo many corner stores) appear to be the most destroyed/looted in philly. and from what i can tell, it's pretty similar to other cities.

and lolz @ the la riots even being mentioned - re: koreans that had to rigorously defend their stores and were in shootouts. i guess koreans aren't/weren't minoroties, though.


shit, the last 2 nights saw like 40 corner stores targeted for their atms. these morons are trying to blow up the ATMs (and don't know how, they're literally just putting bombs on them, often on the screens). some jackass blew himself up doing this.

they did at least target a bank... but they're going after corner stores primarily.

My index funds went from down a lot to back to even.
My trading account is up 40% on the year but I've been only up 2% in the last month in that during the rebound which is fairly pathetic given the market performance, tho I've been too afraid to commit to much of anything.
