my god, the brokerages all suck right now.

Yeah I tried to move some cash to Merrill Edge this week and they rejected my margin application and my account got locked somehow; very retarded. Tied up 30% of my capital for nothing. The transition to cheap digital trading is a patchwork shitshow and frankly makes me wonder whether we'll get some scary technical disaster in the markets at some point.

Tell me about it. I have one that does an auto-PAC out of my account and they treat it as a bill payment so it takes 2-3 days for it to show up on their end. I would be better off manually submitting the request as I can trade it right away.

Damn really missed the read on Splunk.
It was down 5% off bad earnings headlines but investors love subscription revenues. It's now up 12% lol
Should have grabbed it years ago when my roommate worked there. Same when I lived with a guy from Square... ;/

Also disappointed in myself for not holding COTY longer. Thought the market would shake it out more, but damn I sold up 8%, went down 3%....now up 13% lol. Betting against a Jenner PR release is foolish.

Well I just had HTZ in my trading window @ $1.44 and only managed to buy 1000 shares before it went back to 1.55...sold on principle... it went to 1.75....Could have been rich with some balls lol. Could zero after the weekend but I doubt it. Do hope it does so Icahn can look dumb at least. I might re-enter if it hits 1.25 or sub 1

Check this shit out with Camping World and their reality TV leader Lemonis.
Buys tons at dirt cheap prices which is totally fair, then when he can't sell when it skyrockets 3x, takes a tiny bit of his profits, uses a margin loan, buys a tiny amount of new shares to get new investors to think the stock deserves to go even higher and/or to stabilize the price. Lemonis is such a skuzzy trumptard lol.
This is almost exactly what Musk did @ Tesla. Shorting @23 assuming 15% above this dude's psueod "locked in" price is a nice starter.
