^re the above, is there any interest in this thread or ones like it to follow stocks that are other than the well known or less risky ones?
I posted upthread the example of the company I started just over two years ago which we are building from the start with outside capital with the eye to take it public. It can be interesting case study to post showing the entire life cycle of a company from inception to public offering to exit and ROI an investor can make on this type of early stage, seed investment, as we go along. But if that is not really of interest here I won't bother.
You're going to get into some seriously sticky areas if you start publishing stuff and then want to go public. Insider info and all that. I've been involved in a few companies that are in the process of going public, and it's very hush hush once things get started.
Once we take our company public I will reveal the name. Every thing said prior will then be verifiable. Everything I say will happen in the future can then be tracked.
that's why I said once it goes public I would reveal the name and information to connect all the dots and so all the info I gave earlier could be verified. Until then I could only lay out the process and the info without identifying the company.
Be careful. People are resourceful.
Just a warning from someone who has gone through this before. If you have good lawyers, they'll tell you the same.

I think this is just a correction; however, I think that it goes to show people what will happen when the Fed really stops buying back bonds and decides to raise interest rates.
I work w/ a couple of guys that took all of their money out and are laughing at me b/c I still have money in. To me, a 2-3% pullback just means to buy more
Kinder Morgan is consolidating into one C Corp now under KMI. KMR, KMP and the other are being bought and consolidated. They're targeting a 16% div increase in 2015, and then at least 10% through 2020. That's huge! With my rollover coming in soon I'll be adding to that position.
Saw that too. Interesting stuff. Wonder if you'll see more M&As in the energy MLP sector?
Wouldn't surprise me. I'm sure the K-1 tax headache is annoying.
So far today I saw KMI up 10%. As I type this it's up 10.92%. This move made Richard Kinder about $2 billion richer this morning.
I did that recently. Cashed out a ira mutual fund and bought someI'm considering doing partial Roth conversions over the next few years. I'll start with just a few individual stocks each year, and will leave my ETFs in my traditional when all is said and done.
I'm taking a new job in a few weeks, and after a waiting period we get a 401k match. I'm pumped for that.
