Man I've had quite an awful time shorting the wrong earnings items this week. Shorted AEO and VRA and not PVTL and GME.

Damn Bonesy me and you getting rinsed on WOW and CLDR. I thought there was value under 8 for WOW and under 10 for CLDR.
Seems like we were both off by like 15% lol.
Could make for a fantastic squeeze on earnings as I think this is a shitload of shorts trying to replicate what just happened to Box, PVTL, and a few others recently on cloud earnings. (eg tank)

i was hoping for a blood red day, but still managed to squeeze back in some things i cashed out on.

and ironically (since one of you mentioned it [laughing at buddy dropping something for divs]) bought a bunch of dumb dividend stocks with ex/eff dates upcoming to vulture/swing.

one of them is the disaster that is $amc - i figure even if i time it poorly (and don't get out), they'll probably make it up to me with their next earnings bump (ie: all that stupid avenger's/disney money from q2).

Agreed. I heard they might partner with McDonald's is all, I could see it bubbling even more then. Wouldn't mind getting some now if that's the case then dropping it soon after.

I am not surprised by Shopify they are becoming the retail sector version of AWS. More companies are turning to their services. They have systems for social media involvement an e-commerce that's impressive. It also does not hurt that they help turn Kylie Jenner into nearly a billionaire.
