Yeah I can't imagine purchasing that thing haha. Speaking of hogue stocks, I just saw they have zombie green stocks for shotguns now...lol.
It's the internet. Pics, motherfucker, pics.
Sherdog only works on my iPhone for some reason....just dosent work on my MacBook but it works on my wife's desktop PC... I don't know what all that's about but it makes posting pics a pain in the ass.

Didn't Eotech make a zombie themed sight with like a stupid fucking biohazard symbol for a reticle a while back?
I wonder what range officers think when overweight middle aged guys with pony tails and mustard stained t shirts show up at the range with this stuff...

Our department Range Officer, who is also our SWAT commander, had to send out a memo telling people that they should not have Zombie Defense ammo in their off duty guns...I think eotech did in fact make that haha!!!
This zombie stuff must sell, I mean companies keep making it so people must be buying it. I just can't imagine like watching "the walking dead" or something then thinking...."I need a gun now"....then going and buying something and putting all the zombie green/blood splatter stuff all over the place.

Off duty, who gives a fuck? Unless the off duty guns are issued too, then, them's the rules, I guess. Our department Range Officer, who is also our SWAT commander, had to send out a memo telling people that they should not have Zombie Defense ammo in their off duty guns...

Basic premise is if you're in an off duty shooting you don't want to be on the stand getting badgered about why you're loaded with zombie defense ammo that comes in a blood splattered box.Off duty, who gives a fuck? Unless the off duty guns are issued too, then, them's the rules, I guess.
Stippling or griptape. Derp.Dont bother with the Magpul stuff for your shotties. The plastic is smooth and any sweat on your hands makes getting and keeping a tactile grip hard
you pay 150 bones for a 'tactical stock' you shouldnt have to 'bubba' it to make it functional.Stippling or griptape. Derp.

there's actually a lot. See most people look towards upgrading the butt stock, which for a shotgun is the LEAST important part of the package. The more useful thing to ugrade is the forend and there are LOTS of really good options in that regard. Sets that utilize rails, various vertical or angled grips, aggressive grooves, slots for lights etc.I agree but there aren't too many "tactical" type aftermarket stocks that don't have a pistol grip.

The standard stock for most shotguns like a 500 or 870 are actually extremely effective at what they do, which is provide a strong, stable shouldering position that is comfortable with the overall design of the firearm and its employment. They are designed that way on purpose, Magpul imo (and i LOVE magpul) basically just released a stock that reinvented the wheel just for the sake of having something different.
I actually like the bantam stock options because i like having a shorter stock in my HD shotgun (i got a both a 590a1 and an 870 defender.) my 590 is standard as far as that shotgun goes, but i have a Speed feed reduced length stock on my 870 along with a surefire tactical forend for it since its my 'inside the house' gun.
