Stipe is taking advantage of an old shallow battle torn HW division.

Literally the only one in their prime on stipe’s list is overrated ngannou. Stipe beat these guys in the twilight of their careers and is overrated as fuck

I don't think there is a meaningful degree of difference.

Fedor beat the then GOAT HW by complete destruction twice.

That sort of balances out Stipe probably having the advantage towards the back end of the list.

Hughes lost to Dennis Hallman. Twice.
Hughes is still the #2 WW of all time.

Focusing on losses 15 years into a guys career is insane. Cain is only in his 10th year of fighting and can't stay health. JDS is in his 11th year of fighting and is already losing it. When Stipe is in his 15th year of fighting lets see how he does, which is 8 years from now. I bet Stipe will have a dozen losses at that point.

Counting just these:

1. Fedor's win over Big Nog was huge at the time, even bigger that he did it twice. Fedor-1

2. Beating Cro Cop at a kickboxing match at the time was God tier, compared to KOing JDS, who'd been KOed by Reem recently.

3. Tie. Arlovski was a top guy at the time and had just beaten Nelson, Rothwell, and Werdum, but his chin is so damn bad at times. And Ngannou is too green for it to be a great win. Fedor-3, Stipe-1

4. Tie again. KOing Reem is a meme at this point, and Slyvia's fight with Fedor was the one before he got KOed by Ray Mercer for reference. Both good wins on paper, not in actuality.

5. Hammer House guys never had the best sub defence (except Kerr), but Coleman was strong as fuck and had a good top game.

People who vote stipe is brain death. Stipe ko the elder fighter and make an horrible lay and pray performances vs the first young fighter he face.

Well the Reason why Fedor's opponents fought in championship fights is because Fedor was the champion. Also Herring never fought in a championship, both him and Fedor were starting out when they fought. All this said it's pretty even. But Stipe gets a sight edge, the Hunt he defeated was better then the Hunt Fedor beat. Werdum is more impressive then any of Fedor wins. Yet Fedor beat a better Arlovski then Stipe beat. It's close, this is how I rank them for most impressive:
