Just show how great Fedor was. He's 10 years past his prime but he's still relevant. Seriously, I'm feel very bad for those who didn't see him fight during his prime.
 
I think he wouldve been a handful in any era but him vs that version of CC is 50/50 to me. I think the likes of Barnett, Kharitanov and Aleks could have given him interesting challenges too, obviously Fedor and Nog would have been tough, Schilt would have had him wrestling. He probably wins most but i'm not sure he'd have been king of the division back then.

Stipe's great, Fedor's great. You don't have to stoop to that level of tearing down one of these great fighters to make the other look good. Stipe would have been a top contender in any era.

Obviously Fedor is the greatest, and theres really no room for doubt. But Stipe is now in a position to close that distance with his next couple of fights. Beating DC twice, beating francis, JDS and Wedum... he has an incredible resume.

I diagree....

He would lose to all the top guys(Fedor, Mirko and Big Nog) at the time but I also don’t see him beating guys like Sergei, Aleks or Barnett during that time.

Watch Nog vs Sergei, the only times Nog was outstruck in Pride during his best years were Crocop and Fedor, he couldn't deal with the kicks of the latter and the speed of the former, neither of which Stipe has.

Remind me, how many years did Stipe stay unbeaten? How many consecutive title defenses?
 
Fedor is my favorite fighter of all time but Stipe is massively underrated. It's hard to tell how Stipe would have done in Pride but I'm sure he would have been great. Lots of fantastic matchups.

Big Fedor fan and think he’s the goat, still totally disagree with you. I don’t get why you’re trying to discredit a great fighter in Stipe. He’s easily top 5 imo and I can listen to an argument for any place above that.
