Nope, not one. Zip. Zero. Nada.

Roy Nelson - 37yrs old
Gabriel Gonzaga - 34yrs old
Mark Hunt - 41yrs old
Andrei Arlovski - 37yrs old
Fabricio Werdum - 39yrs old
Alistair Overeem - 36yrs old, non-Uber
Junior Dos Santos - post-Cain & Overeem
Francis Ngannou - Green
Daniel Cormier - 40yrs old
Daniel Cormier - 41yrs old

In fact the only prime HWs he faced...Francis, JDS, Struve...all beat him.

Stipe can never be the GOAT HW because he doesn't have a single legitimately great win. Not one.

Because of this Stipe firmly ranks behind Fedor, Big Nog, Cain, JDS, Couture, Werdum, and probably a few others.

Thats actually not true. The division died out around 2013 which let some older HWs extend their careers.
Carwin and Couture predate 2013 and they would be ancient in any other division

I would say some of those people were in the twilight of their prime, but they were still in their prime.
Werdum was in his prime for sure... but he kinda gave him the win.

You can make arguments to dismiss every fighter's career. Aside from sitting out forever for his Cormier rematches, Stipe fought and beat whoever was presented to him.

I'd say N'Gannou was in his prime when Stipe beat him, 11-1 in MMA 6-0 in the UFC and 33-34 years old? I think the rematch was more about Stipe getting old than N'Gannou getting significantly better but there was a bit of both. Still I'd consider that prime NGannou. Werdum is an all time great and he was 38, champion and ontop of his game..it's a prime win for sure. The Cormier wins are more iffy, but he started late and still rose to greatness...the only man to beat Cormier besides Stipe was Jones, they significant wins. The JDS, Overeem and Arlovski wins were clearly over men not in their primes.

Werdum was 38yrs and 11 months. He had only fought once in the past year and a half against a broken down Cain. Before that he beat an old Mark Hunt.

You can't say 40yr olds are in their primes.

HW is an older division than other weigh classes by far.

That said Stipe has way more impressive title defenses than anyone else at HW
