The guy lost to Struve and Gonzaga was lighting him up before he gassed. His wrestling played a big role against Hunt and JDS which will not be the case against Werdum.

He is not the hard puncher boxer like JDS is, but he is very technical.
I still can't believe that his first UFC loss is against Struve

Stipe has never lost a boxing match according to UFC his only boxing loss was a gym fight against rousey

I don't think that winning Golden Gloves has very much to do with what you do in MMA. Stipe has displayed very good boxing for MMA and that is what matters. We'll see if it's the formula to beat Werdum. I have a feeling not, but I'm used to seeing unexpected outcomes. I think Wedums MT and his general craftiness will be enough to manage Stipe on the feet and if he can get him to the ground it's going to be a short night for Miocic.
