Stipe Miocic beats Jon Jones ...

I don't think Stipe is just going to roll over like Gane did.

But I can't imagine that he's got enough left in the tank to outwork Jones. Probably loses a comfortable decision or late TKO finish.
 
Fight should have happened while ago but it is what it is. Jones will win but I wouldn't be surprised if stipe puts up a hell of a fight, taking it to the judges.
 
Depends on jones pictogram status, if he's the same jones vs santos and stipe isn't completely shot then yeah he could lose.
but if he's found a way to get back then stipe is most likely fucked
 
I'd love for Stipe to be the guy to put Jones down, I just can't see it though. I just don't see Stipe being able to get in boxing range consistently, and when he does, Jones grabs the clinch and maybe works his wrestling.

This fight probably ends up being a slow paced kickboxing match with Jones keeping Stipe at the end of his kicks for 5 rounds, maybe with a bit of top control when Stipe gets frustrated and chases, leading to Jones TDs.
 
I don't think so. He's old and shot, and that's exactly why Jones is so desperate to fight him. I'd be more than happy if he gets the win, though.

Agree with this.

Stipe is smooth and fluid in his punches.

He has literally run backward — and KO'd people — while doing so.

Stipe was ripped @ 233 when he faced DC II ...

Jones is a "little guy" by comparison ... and Jones has no "Ngannou" factor ... Jones literally has NO POWER ...

Even an elder Stipe eats Jones alive IMO ...

Yeah, that was like Amanda Nunes submitting Megan Anderson except that when Jon did so, Gane was the No. 1 HW Ranked fighter and the former interim champ while on the other hand, Megan was unranked in the most shallow division in the UFC cause the division has a very few number of fighters.
 
Hopefully the time off has been good for Stipe, if he can show up and fight his kinda fight and Jon shows up like one of his last LHW fights Stipe could easily win.

But you have to worry about damage, Francis KO, DC KO and even when he beat DC he ate a ton of punches so you’d hope the time off has helped
 
this would be a great fight if we where talking prime stipe
even the stipe that beat dc would beat any man on this planet
