Stipe Miocic beats Jon Jones ...

The last time Stipe looked good was the first Ngannou match. That was 5 years before the Jon match. Stipe is going to be 41 and come from 3 year layoff lol

Bullship.

Stipe decimated DC in the second fight.

Even Jones acknowledged Stipe as "The Goat" .... after Miocic threw 12 straight liver shots into DC, and decimated him with the subsequent KO after that.

You are tied to your trolling, highly commendable.

A minority opinion isn't necessarily trolling. Except for the age being an enhancement part, his reasoning is pretty sound.

Stipe's crazy beeyatch wife always f's up his fights so depends a lot on that. Also not sure how much he has degraded during this lengthy layoff. Despite his age if he came to win and had a complete training camp and game plan no reason why he can't beat Jones. If he just comes for a payday he loses but it could also end up being a more boring point fight.

If his chin has recovered and he hops on a peat diet stipe will use the immigrant mentality to knock him out with the first punch

Don’t forget he dominated DC twice in a HW trilogy during this period. Very misleading post.

Can't finish Stipe on the ground or on the feet?

"Jones wrestling sucks, it only looked good because Gane is worse than a white belt." I can't believe he can outwrestle DC and you still see shit like this.
Stipe did too. Finished DC and won by decision just like jones did, outwrestling him over three fights.

main difference being it was a heavyweight DC and stipe didn’t test positive for PEDs.

Stipe’s wins over DC are more
impressive than Jon’s.

Stipe’s 4th round finish of Daniel Cormier is one of the best wins in mixed martial arts history. It’s a hard fought, competitive and definitive finish between two elite fighters at their best in the premier weight division of the sport.

It’s an unbelievable fight and the strategy and technique employed at that weight to attack so explicitly and intentionally for the finish to the body but ultimately to the head is something YOU DONT SEE OFTEN in heavyweight history. Not to mention stipe faced adversity early.

Stipe v DC 2 is a HOF fight between two HOF fighters. It was dramatic and competitive from beginning to end.

I don’t think Stipe would come back unless he was feeling confident and in good condition … however I’m not sure he beats Jones.

IMO ...

Jones can't really hurt Stipe, fistically ...
Jones can't even finish Stipe on the ground, either ...

While Jones did look good against Ciryl Gane, it was a "fools gold" victory ... against an amateur (Jones himself called the fight "a mismatch"). And Jones proved it.

Other than the lopsided (in Jones' words, mismatch) victory, above, Jon Jones has basically looked like shit against everybody else, and for the past several fights.

I, for one, can't wait to see Jones step into the ring with Stipe Miocic

I'm especially hopeful because of Miocic's age.

While some people see this as a deficit, I consider it an enhancement.
Jon Jones has lived a life of excess, while Stipe Miocic has lived a life of purpose.

While I am an admirer of Jon Jones' legacy, I am looking forward to Stipe Miocic castrating him at the end of this year.

So many people are counting out Stipe, because of Ngannou.
But (IMO) Jones doesn't have the power to worry Stipe, and I think Stipe has the power to worry Jones.

Time will tell ...
I agree. Can't wait for Stipe to shut up the fanboys

LOL calm down

DC was 40 years old with back surgery and happened to retire one fight after that loss because he was physically cooked.

It was a good win for sure but DC was past his prime by then on on the downside.

Stipe vs Jones in 2023 is a really ambiguous fight with lots of unknowns and questions in regards to both guys.

Jones was coming off a 3 year layoff and spent a minute in the cage in his last fight after submitting a guy with no ground game. That fight wasn't a good measurement of where Jones is. We knew he could submit someone with no ground game without watching that fight.

Then you have Stipe who is 41 years old and hasn't been in the cage in 2 years and was brutally knocked out in his last fight and has been KOd twice in his last 4 fights and has been in nothing but wars in his last 5 fights.

With that said if Stipe is at his best his style is a tough matchup for Jones. He's tall, he has a great chin, he has much better boxing than Jones and has enough grappling skill to keep Jones off of him and force a stand up fight.

There is no doubt in my mind that a 2016 Stipe would beat 2023 Jon Jones but I'm not so sure about today's version of Stipe. I'll say this, if Stipe is well prepared Jones will at the very least have his hands full. Even if he wins a well prepared Stipe will make him work for it.

That amateur was the No. 1 HW Ranked fighter and the former interim champ, Miocic is 41 years old and is irrelevant and has no wins over any ranked HW and even the guys that has beaten him are no longer in the UFC, only Arlovski still there, Miocic is fucked big time, bro.

I agree it's not as easy for Jones as people think. Stipe has the reach, boxing and wrestling to give Jones trouble. Jones always "struggled" against guys with good tdd and boxing and similiar size. I also don't see Jones finishing Stipe.
