there was no lead up. hack style writing. kind of like shows that base their storylines around focus groups (i'm looking at you, the office).
 
I was friends with this kid who sold pills for a crazy expensive prices. Im talkin a 1 a mg for oxy. Anyways 1 day I only had 79$ and I was an 80mg OC and he wasnt going to fuckin sell it to me til my other friend freaked out and told him there was a $ in change in his care. This cheap fuck went and found a $ in pennys in my friends car, thought that was funny. Another time with this same kid a different friend owed him $2, so the cheap 1 calls and ask my friend if he can bring him the $2 my friend laughed and said he wasnt going to drive a 40mile roundtrip to drop $2 off. So as you can guess this kid wanted his $2 bad enough that he drove the 40 mile round trip to my friend house to get his $2.

This kid was so cheap it was a joke he was also gay and had a crush on me, we all thought. I ended up owing him 1500 or so and he had some shit of mine as collateral and he pieced me off 1 time so I beat his ass and made him go to his house and give me all my shit back. I still owe him all that money, but it was his fault you dont keep giving a drug addict, drugs.

i agree that 18% is a little bit high, but it is actually the restaurants ripping everyone off. The server has to pay out a percentage of his/her sales to the house/porters/hostess/kitchen/bartender. So let's say she pays out 4 percent of her sales. If a table of 20 comes in and the bill comes to $1000. She has to pay out $40. If she receives no tip, she is paying out of her pocket.

The system is stupid, but I guess with 95% of restaurants failing, it is one way to give risk taking entrepreneurs a bit of a brake. Anyways, the shit that goes on in restaurants is fucking disgusting. If you ever find a clean restaurant, stick with it. I know that Earls restaurants in Canada are very well maintained and they genuinely do care about the food the guests are eating.
 
We have a slower guy in my town that every year sells mints to raise money for an Easter egg hunt every year for the kids. At every business he has a box of mints with a can, free will donation type thing. Seen one jackass grab 6 rolls, put them in his pocket and not stick a dime in the box. I called him out in the middle of the store and he just ignored me.

A friend of mine used to date a fat chick that would order McDonalds for herself and none for her kids. She would then eat the Big Mac meal while they had chopped up hot dogs.

One time I was late meeting a friend for breakfast at his place, but we had a plan for that day. So I arrived just as his family was about to be done with the breakfast.
They offered me some of the foods, but not being the type who can eat in hurry but not wanting to be impolite, I decide to have a toast.

Once I got it, I noticed it was cold, but I didn't want to go through all trouble to get it reheat or whatever. So I just smear butter across it cold and eat it. Noticed the bread was really tough and chewy.
I commented how it is really tough, my friend says it is how all of his family foods are.
While I watch him cleaning up...

He gathers everybody glasses. He pick up two that have bit orange juice left in it and use funnel to pour the remain orange juice back into the carton and put it back in fridge.
He gathers up some slice of unused toast and put it in bread bag with fresh bread.
He then pick up bowl that was used for cereal but still have milk in it and use strainer to filter out remain cereal and into a bowl then pour the milk down funnel and back into milk carton and put it back in fridge!

Needless to say I end up not having too much fun that day as I felt physically sick from eating the toast and watching how he cleaned up.

kind of sad, but more disgusting than anything. if they were so poor, why not do a better job of rationing and distributing? maybe they were just extremely cheap.

My cousin's family on Thanksgiving always goes to some free thanksgiving meal giveaway that is meant for the unfortunate who can't afford it lol they make very good money btw
 
This is a while back but a group of us went on a ski trip and bought a fair bit of booze. We were broken down into food groups and anyway a mate of mine suggested we get some Tia Maria. Anyways for the week we had far too much alcohol and the Tia Maria went unused and so we gave it to my mate as he liked it. The following week was another friend's birthday party and as a present he brought that bottle as the present. Regifted a handdown bottle of booze.
