When I was in the military, a friend of mine and I ordered Thai food to go pick up for lunch, right when we were walking out the door, this Major stopped us and asked where we were going. I told him. He said "do you have a menu?" I'm like "No i just get the phad thai or curry" and he's like, "call them back, order me some phad thai".

So I call them back, order him his food too, then go tell him it's $9.25. And he goes "$9.25? I'm not paying that much, call them back and cancel my order".

He was a reservist on TDY to my location which means on top of his normal cash money millionaire $$$'s he was making, he was pulling in an additional $57 a day.

And he looked like Apollo Creed. Fuckin' asshole.

I do that with Brocoli ever since i was shopping in a rural supermarket and I noticed out there the stem is like 1/2 an inch long, while in city supermarkets its like 3 inches.
Seeing it is the heaviest bit of the plant, id say it comes out at near half price.

See that actually makes sense as you're saving a good amount, those green things on tomatoes are so light you'd literally save nothing by taking them off. Thankfully she's stopped doing it now though.

On the student ID thing,

There is a Uni in Sydney where you sign up for a 4 year course, attend one day to get your ID, then withdraw without penalty or charge.

That student ID card says it is valid for 4 years, and you never even studdied a day.


Oh and I toured Europe with an expired TAFE (community college equiv) saved me prob close to a $1,000 all up.

-Boss bought a Prius to save a slight amount of fuel economy over his honda accord, while still getting paid .40 a mile from work.

-Same guy would travel with 2 gas cans in said Prius to fill up at gas stations that had cheaper gas.

-Same guy buys bananas at BJs. Not in bulk. (how much cheaper could the be?!)

-Bought a ticket for a 3d movie, kept the glasses, then bought regular tickets for the 3d movies and brought in the 3d glasses

-On a dull day, Id buy a ticket for one movie, then when it was over, go into another starting movie.

-Whenever I need salt or pepper shakers, I take them from resturants, along with anything else ont he table that id need.

-Used to hate 'seasoned' ice, but when getting refilled mixed drinks, Id keep the remaining ice (which holds alcohol) and get stronger drinks for the same price from then on.

-When bread is close to expiring, I throw it into the fridge.

-If supplementation is cheaper to buy separately then buying brand name fat burners, then I do.

- I usually flush only when I shit. "If its yellow, let it mellow, if its brown, flush it down."

-I refill a big bottle of water with water from the sink.

-I use shopping bags for waste baskets.

-I always take a dump on company time.

At Golden Corral (lunch Buffet), I saw a guy with a take out box full of salad.
He sat at a table and individually dried each piece of lettuce wit a napkin so that he would not have to pay extra for wet lettuce because they weigh your box on the way out and you pay by the weight.
