Was it really? Couldn't it have been just merged with the former Crowder thread?

There's been several 'stories' about this situation, not that each of them warrant a new thread.

The article was worth a new thread because even a left-leaning news site was admitting Vox and Carlos Maza got their asses handed to them. If Fox News published the article it wouldn't be worth a new thread, just another conservative site backing another conservative. But since it was Vice, which apparently can call it like they see it when they want to, it was worth a new thread, rather than buried in a 5-day old thread.

And I explained the 'fig' joke to Rational Poster days ago, and he's still acting like he doesn't get it.

Very similar to how Carlos Gaza is claiming to feel harassed by Crowder, when he actually wants Crowder banned to prevent him from debunking his Vox propaganda videos.

If I saw a 'Capitalism is for figs' T-shirt, I'd think 'Ok, I'm a capitalist, and I'm not a fig' and move on with my day.

It's essentially what always happens to perpetual whiners. They make martyrs out of their targets, because they eventually expose themselves as the real bullies.

We've let it slide for the purposes of this thread because its part of the story but this will not be a reoccurring thing in other threads. It will be treated as bypassing the word filter, as it is treated anytime other people do that (Example "naggers").
