Social Steven crowder demonetized

Regulated by who? if youre the owner of said company you dont need regulation. No one is making youtube bring a new ban policy, they as a company are taking the initiative. Are you telling me the government if forcing some regulations on them? If youre talking about advertisers looking for specific content to advertise on then thats just tough. Arent you pro capitalize?
Actually he broke a rule since he is being demonetized. You dont think he is being demonetized for no reason right? <Baelish01>

If you know there are consequences for your actions especially one where you arent your own boss then why try to push the boundaries to see how far you can take it? He now knows which side his bread is buttered. Also who cares if youtube is making changes to their policies of monetization? It's their company they can do as they see fit. It's like me being pissed at my company for making a new policy that I dont like, you know what they will tell me? Hit the road jack and dont you come back no more no more.

YouTube said specifically that he broke no rules.

I don't see it....Plenty of right wingers crying about Youtube 24/7 and their channel doesn't go down....Look at the comments, plenty of troll comments/dislikes from the right, youtube does nothing.
No idea what your point is but ok

I didn’t put a quantitative number on voting base so why are you

You're claiming taking political position will alienate half of the voting base so it couldn't be about money for TV stations.

I'm saying it is and completely financially viable economic strategy. That's what MSNBC does. What's what Fox News does, etc.

Lol they are political media oopinated with news and no disguise you tube isn’t a left leaning political machine that’s what they claim. Two totally different things, next you will want players on sports teams to be all liberals or right wingers and no mixture

I don't understand what you're saying.

My whole point is: all media outlet's goal is to make money.... period. That's their goal - profit.

And so is Youtube. It's not some "liberal agenda" for Youtube to want Crowder to take links off a t-shirt that says "Socialism is for f&gs."

That's simply not good for business. No advertiser is going to like that (regardless of political affiliation.)

Yes, this worth a new thread in the Crowder/Vox saga, because there's been a declared winner.

https://news.vice.com/en_us/article...down-on-steven-crowder-only-made-him-stronger

"A week after Steven Crowder’s bullying of a Vox journalist pitted conservative media against Big Tech, it’s official: Crowder has won."

"What YouTube intended as a slap on Crowder’s wrist has instead turned the video creator into a martyr standing against Big Tech overreach. And it could even help him solidify a more durable business model that limits the pain YouTube can inflict for breaking its rules in the future — outside of an outright ban.

“We’re not really beholden to the YouTube advertiser,” Crowder said on his show Wednesday.

"Creators like Crowder have built deep relationships with their audiences through content that drives the user engagement tech platforms crave. Creators then convert those relationships into cash in a variety of ways that don’t always rely on platform approval: t-shirts, sponsored content, memberships, and more."

"BACKING CROWDER
Right-wing media personalities rallied behind Crowder after the YouTube nixed some of the advertising on Crowder’s videos last week. Sen. Ted Cruz has publicly taken to Crowder’s defense. And new subscribers have flooded into his channel, which pushed merchandise and memberships to its “Mug Club” through the promo code “FREESPEECH” over the weekend."

"Critics including Maza have slammed YouTube for allowing his videos to remain live despite their apparent violation of the platform’s harassment policies. They argue that YouTube’s decision to cut the ad revenue it shares with Crowder green lights him to continue making money in other ways."

"As conservatives like Ben Shapiro and self-styled freethinkers like Joe Rogan came to Crowder’s defense, he pushed “Mug Club” memberships at a 30% discount. The deal gave fans access to the right-wing BlazeTV for a year for just $69. And Crowder’s show on Thursday went so far as to nominate Maza as Louder With Crowder’s employee of the month “for selling more Mug Clubs than ever in the company’s history.”

“We would all gladly give up all monetization if it just meant that we got to keep the reach that we’ve acquired ourselves — meaning you, who’s subscribed, or you, who decided to get notifications,” said Crowder, who on Wednesday’s show wore a shirt emblazoned with the gun manufacturer Walther, a sponsor. “If we get to keep that, we’re OK because we’ll make it with people joining Mug Club, with people buying merch.”

It’s impossible to independently verify new signups to Crowder’s paid offering or sales of his “Socialism Is For F*gs” shirts, among other products. He and BlazeTV didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Nearly 86,000 users subscribed to his feed over that 7-day span, according to the analytics firm SocialBlade. That’s up from just 15,000 the week before. Numerous Twitter users likewise shared photos of themselves drinking from official Mug Club mugs.

And not to brag, but I called it. Posted Thursday at 9AM -
"'Bites the dust?'

Don't you realize this is the MOST publicity Crowder has EVER had?

He doesn't rely on YouTube for revenue, he has his own subscription service back by Glenn Beck's Blaze Network.

'Gaywonk' tried to destroy Crowder, but is helping him become more popular than his figgy mind could possibly imagine.

It wasn't a difficult prediction to make.

You can't out troll a sherdogger, that's just silly thinking.

Dog bless Crowder

So what does this have to do with Trump? <BirdieOwn>

:p

But seriously, that's good news.

That's what I said in the other thread. The only thing really bad about this is how much attention it's getting Crowder.

Conservatives are perpetual victims and boy do they love their martyrs.

Also this doesn't deserve a new thread.

Um, in this situation, Crowder isn't the perpetual victim.

Its this fig.

His bitching about Crowder to YouTube caused this entire situation, by being the latino gay 'victim' of Crowder's 'harassment.'

So 'Steven Crowder Demonetized" was worth a new thread, in which you didn't complain in that thread, but you are complaining in this thread.

Gotchya.

<YeahOKJen>

Uh yeah, "Steven Crowder Demonetized" was a new story.

You posted the same story again to jerk off or whatever because VICE made a story about the story.

What happened to VICE being a bunch of soy boy hacks?

Oh great, apparently @Lead wants this thread title for all the conversation about Crowder.

Reported for evading the forum's profanity filter.

Was it really? Couldn't it have been just merged with the former Crowder thread?

There's been several 'stories' about this situation, not that each of them warrant a new thread.

The article was worth a new thread because even a left-leaning news site was admitting Vox and Carlos Maza got their asses handed to them. If Fox News published the article it wouldn't be worth a new thread, just another conservative site backing another conservative. But since it was Vice, which apparently can call it like they see it when they want to, it was worth a new thread, rather than buried in a 5-day old thread.
