Stephen Thompson has Naruto (anime ) poster on his wall!

Invincible is wonderful. Death note is super hit and miss. I loved the dark tone. But the story gets jumbled and stupid at points. The ending also sucked. I had to take breaks from it and come back towards like the middle cause it was so slow
Yea there are some plot holes for sure, but it's sad because it's like 15+ years later and 99% of shows won't even think about creating something of the same ilk.

There's only so many times I can watch super human beings throw fireballs and move at the speed of light lol. Crime drama mystery shows are few and far between in Anime, and the best ones are older. But any show that can actually incorporate these themes into their show really do well.

Have you seen erased? From what you've said it sounds like you'd like that, it's a super well done murder mystery/ time paradox anime that isn't cringe at all

want to talk about stupid points...... invincible is full of them

it "offered" a good shock factor, but now that's gone..... <KhabibBS>

death note is way better than that predictable, childish, and gore for no good reason invincible. Second rate "the boys" mean to kill time

99% of anime is absolute degenerate garbage. You can find a lot of cool stuff in that remaining 1% though currently watching ashita no joe.

I thought anime was for degenerate virgin losers with no social life.

Watching anime doesn't make you a degen virgin loser but let's be real, weeb culture in general is full of degen virgin losers.

What's going on here!?

I thought anime was for degenerate virgin losers with no social life. Meanwhile Izzy and Stephen are repping anime. So is it ok to like anime? I know Netflix has been adding more and more anime in to their collection but I just assumed people have the same attitude as Colby in regards to this genre of entertainment.

@Orochimaru 大蛇丸

I summon you for this relates to you!

Izzy is a degen lame loser and Wonderboy is a 38yo karateka who still lives with his dad

I used to think wonderboy was just a fake Christian phony hypocrite, like a young Bones, but the guy has seriously grown on me over the years. I really think this dude cares about everyone from all walks of life, and he’s actually humble and not afraid to be unequivocally himself. Which is kind of ballsy in a sport where your masculinity is always being gauged by your opponents and the fans.

There is a reason anime characters are all 12/17 years old.
It's because that is also the target audience.
Shows for adults feature adult characters, because adults can't stand to watch kids and their childisch problems on tv.
There are a few and I really do mean a few that are bareable, because there are no childish chars in there, but 99,999999 % is childish crap with 0 humor.
