Opinion Stephen Miller...Good lord WTF?

Obviously Kamala Harris. She didn’t win a single swing state in 2024. She was the first to drop out of the primaries in 2020. Not sure what’s going over your head.
It was a joke. Neither of them were likable.

He's certainly a bit of a psychopath, but I'm not seeing anything wrong with what he said here.
--Instead of “demanding that elections be held” in Venezuela, he added, “the future of the free world depends on America to be able to assert ourselves and our interests without an apology.”--

I dunno bro, dude sounds unhinged lol. Like in the TV shows when the guy you thought was the bad villain gets defeated and the subordinate takes over and is twice as bad as the original villain ever was. That's him. He's that guy.

"Not literally Nazis" doing enough invading of sovereign nations and dismissive hand waving of international law to now say they're actually on their way.

Treading ever closer each day.

Yea I actually thought the quote was fake or out of context when I first saw it yesterday. Like dude is just openly going full cartoon villain and we're supposed to be like "ah well that's not too bad". It's actually worse than that considering they feel no need to hide or minimize how they actually feel these days.

He is unhinged, but again, nothing he said here was wrong. A bit politically incorrect, maybe, but nothing that America hasn't been doing since it's inception. Just because the other admins don't say it, doesn't mean they don't do it.

Every inch they are given things will get worse and worse and worse.

I'm unsure what you're saying here. Are you saying,

"It's fine because other admins do bad things, it's just that he's saying the bad thing out loud"

Or

"America has been doing these things since it's inception so nothing to see here, it is what it is"

It seems like either way, it's still "wrong", and you're argument is one of these two, but neither are an argument that "nothing is wrong". Wrong, in the sense of "bad" not "accurate", that type of wrong. "Bad", as in "speaking openly against democracy and towards forced coercion". Saying a country's democracy is pretty much irrelevant because you're America and that's what matters is actually pretty bad/wrong, very much so.

Both, I guess. Would you rather be lied to?

In terms of right or wrong, it depends on the scenario. I don't think removing Maduro was wrong.

Venezuela's "democracy"? Come on, son. Maduro wasn't even recognized as the leader by America, and a whole other host of countries, including mine, because he so obviously stole the last election. They basically snatched a drug lord.

"Our objective is for the security and stability for the people of Venezuela. With our help and leadership, that country will become more prosperous than it has ever been in its whole history." - Stephen Miller

What an asshole!
- You know that isnt truth. obviously getting Maduro out can make Venezuela better, But that wasnt the intention, only the consequence.

Maduro was trash, can't get me defend him at all, but there's a huge grey area between "Maduro had to go this dude was trash" and "America should impose it's will on Venezuela as it sees fit" lol. Miller is all the way to the right on that and could care less about anyone knowing too because he knows he's untouchable right now.

Well, how else does he go? They tried the whole "democracy" thing. Didn't take. So how do you get rid of him, if not like this?

I'm well aware that the US doesn't really give a shit about people suffering under a brutal dictatorship, but if the stars align, and they can get rid of one that happens to coincide with their interests, and do it in such a way that doesn't involve a full on invasion, I say that's a win/win.

He doesn't care about being untouchable. It's just who he is. Certainly comes with some wrinkles, but what he's saying here? Meh.
