At some point it is what it is. I was listening to a David spade interview last week about Chris Farley and he talked about how much him and others tried to help him but at some point it starts compromising your personal life. You just have to hope that they get better and that your most memorable memories with them aren’t the bad times.

On another note, it’s probably been said, but his fight against Forest was a turning point for the UFC, Dana actually gave them both credit…
The UFC was needing more financing and the Frettitas had almost had enough, but after that fight, they cut another check, and the rest is history….45 Years Old…man..

He was well spoken and entertaining, thought he'd be a natural in some commentary gig.

Once I saw the video below a while back, I assumed any falling out had to be because of some demons, which his drug addiction manifested into.

Sad stuff all around, dude is one of the biggest reasons the UFC and MMA is where it is today. I'd like to hear more about what lead to him not being a part of the UFC, as he should have been taken care of. I saw some article recently about Mike Goldberg, made me think how poorly they treated him at the end, completely ghosted. Hopefully they didn't leave Bonner on the curb, guy clearly needed help.

I was always a fan of Bonnar. He was entertaining win or lose and had a funny personality.
