News Stephan Bonnar passed away (RIP)

This dude was made of iron

The way he took that knee to the chest was incredible... How anyone survived that I do t know

Was an icon of that era regardless of rank.

Unfortunate how things went

RIP. I remember watching season 1 of TUF when it aired and at the time, all the guy were trying to find the easiest path possible to advance and avoid fighting. Bobby Southworth was an intimidating fighter who many had pegged as a contender to win the house and Bonnar as soon as he got a chance to pick an opponent he asked for Bobby. Randy couture tried talking him out of it and stephan was nah, lets go. He said his only concern was that he wasnt sure if he could finish Bobby and thus would potentially miss out on the 5k$ finish bonus but he wanted to test himself. Dude was a true warrior.

oh fuck, no! damn it. this sucks.

RIP man.

Man did he need help these last few years, hard to control a 205 pound professional mma fighter though.

RIP Bonnar, thanks for the memories.

Well that's fucking depressing news to wake up to :( Rest in power.

Damn. RIP. War Bonnar. Extremely tough and hard to stop LHW. 45 is no age at all.

Not surprised , all the head trauma and probably nothing to show for financially in his mid 40s due to Dan's and UFC's greed.

RIP.

Holy shit...I don't even know what to say. It's always terrible to see fighters who helped make the ufc what it is today go.
