Stats show that Andrei arlovski was beating Fedor until the KO

So many morons in this thread. Made me chuckle.

Bringing up stats of 2 min of fighting as some sort of crowning achievement and then getting viciously knocked out...ouch. I woudl be embarassed to open a thread like this.
 
Arlovski doesn't throw the flying knee, he does something else that gets him clipped. Then we talk all about the what if's of that scenario instead.

Not sure I understand the hate going on in this thread. I had herad this a few times that AA was winning the first little bit before eventually getting KO'd. It's an interesting stat, and Fedor has had it happen before as well before pulling off the win. Not sure why TS is getting blasted over it.

Personally I do think AA would have found another way to lose this fight, but still would have been interesting had he not gone for the flying knee thing to see it continue to play out.

Reality is despite height/reach Arlovski was'nt landing anything big, then Fedor bombed his head once and Arlovski died.

If anything the best thing Andrei did in whole fight was while cornered punish with a nice right uppercut a reckless overhand right by Fedor, but never get even mentioned because 80% of people babbling about Arlovski world domination were just there to hate on Fedor and probably just seen the clip with few punches+spartakick into death

Wich again, happened well inside 1st round.
People building somehow a narrative with unstoppable but unlucky Arlovski would give Tolkien a run for his money

I don't need to look at stats to know Andre was beating Fedor because it was obvious to anyone watching it live. Fedor was frustrated for sure, so much so he laid the sucker bait and Andre took it. I compare it to Big Nog's loss to Frank Mir. Nog was beating his ass standing so Mir went down and Nog jumped right on top of him and the rest is history.

That's not necessarily true. AA was ranked around #5 in the world when he fought Fedor, but he was ranked #3 in the world as recently as 2015 after beating Schaub, Bigfoot, Hapa, and Mir.
