Stats show that Andrei arlovski was beating Fedor until the KO

Fuckin’ liar

You do realize that in that post I said Gane would beat Ngannou? I said he would lose to Volkov but come back and beat Ngannou.

Guess that means you proved me right.

Poor reading comprehension. Not to mention the post was obviously tongue in cheek... the whole "not black enough" thing was part of a joke

And how many years were Arlovski, JDS, Cain, Werdum... removed from UFC championship when new stars like Gagne, Ngannou, Stipe, Blaydes, Volkov, Rozenstruik beat them?

New stars base their status and legacy upon beating champions and big names of the past. If the new UFC guys are allowed to, why would Fedor and Pride guys not be allowed the same thing?

What were Coleman, Vovchanchyn, Randleman in 2004, the same thing are Cain, JDS, Arlovski, Werdum in recent years to new guys.
When Adesanya beats Silva, no one is talking about him beating "UFC champion." Quite a few people beat Silva over the last 9 years, but only Weidman beat UFC champ Silva.

To avoid any misunderstanding, I have no problem with Fedor fighting versions of UFC fighters that already tap to strikes standing up. Just no need to call them champions when they're actually just former champions, sometimes a dozen years removed from any belt consideration.

Name one, and a poster who said it. Otherwise bullshit.

https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/...the-ufc-champions-apart-from-couture.3758293/ should be plenty of that in this thread, for example. Go find relevant poster(s) yourself.

You also greatly underestimated him, thinking he would lose to Volkov. And that’s already after he beat JDS and Rozenstruick, which makes me doubtful you predicted he’ll be where he’s now back in early 2020

You don't need stats. He was clearly dominating until he got overconfident and went for a flying knee.

People analyze this KO too much. Arlovski is prone to getting KOed. He got KOed by totally insane Datsik, obtrusive rim servicer Rogers and basically every other 205+ fighter around. So knocking him out is not a unique achievement. Even Ronda Rousey sitting on Ben Askren's shoulders can KO Arlovski.

I never said any of that. I said I predicted he would beat Ngannou and become champ. That makes that post proof that I was truthful yet you called me a liar. I figured he needed some time to develop but that's irrelevant to this argument.

Also your own hyped post only days back to dec 2020 so stop changing the goalpost. Even your post in June did not predict him beating Ngannou. Early 2020....

listen, AA is my all time fav, and I was hyped for that fight, especially when he came out looking good.

BUT... he lost, in crushing fashion. it is what it is. Fedor prob would've done it without the knee attempt, seems he was just waiting for a spot and that happened to be the one.

"I was winning until I lost" is never a good retrospective, imo.

Why are lying again? You said you bet a 100 on Volkov to beat Gane and considered betting more, but you didn’t think Gane would lose to Volkov? WTF?

Sure he was outboxing him easy..

Then came the lowest fight IQ moment of all time..

Flying Knee right into Fedor's power hand.. Brilliant Stuff..

Just put a poll up for fucks sake. Loser leaves town. Just make sure it's clear which side you're on so we know who to vote out :)

I'm still laughing at shills here trying to make it seem like the AA that Stipe beat was "in his prime" or a "top guy still".

He was literally ranked #2 at the time, and 11-1 in the last 5 years. His only loss was a decision to Rumble (when he was KOing fools dead) in a fight he got absolutely screwed over when they let the 1st round go 5 seconds longer than it should've and in that time he got dropped, his jaw broken, and nearly finished. Prior to that he was winning, and then still made it to a competitive decision 2 rounds later with a broken jaw.

You can argue Arlovski maybe wasn't as good as he had been, but trying to pretend he wasn't a top guy when he literally was at the time is dumb and insecure on your part. If Arlovski had beaten Stipe he was getting a title shot.
