If obi wan beat prime vader, doesnt that make obi wan strongest jedi?

Yet couldnt take duuku in either encounter where as Anakin ethered him in 2nd fight.

Anakin was too brash tryjng to jump over instead of fight his way up or go around. Costly for him but it could have been very different. That being said obi wan is no slouch. He took maul and grievous and iirc was the first jedi in like 1000 years to kill any sith.

We are told Windu is the strongest but we really never see it.

We see him vs palps who wasn’t wrecking shit until Anakin showed up and he had to let windu put him in a bad spot to turn him.

It was a selfless act, it’s possible and plausible he still could have beaten Vader then, but it would have been worse for the group as a whole at that moment if he kept fighting.

And Vader displayed the worst fight IQ ever for even trying it

In the rematch we see how bad Obi Wan is when he can't hide or have a milk crate to stand on

Conan didn't "Rey his way" to super awesomeness...he had to turn the Wheel of Pain for at least a decade, then he got thrown into the gladiator pit. For some reason, his masters decided to educate him like a king, but at least it was explained and didn't come out of nowhere.
That's the thing with the Reys and Dani Ramoses of the new action movie world order. Since there's no real character development or hero's journey, and they haven't turned themselves into 1990s Linda Hamilton physically, it's kind of like if you took Steve Buscemi or Michael Cera and dropped them into an action movie as unexplained ass kickers.

All I wanted to point out was she had/has struggles, she had defeats and she has a journey/arc and we still have a part to go.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I really enjoyed Force Awakens, but I thought Last Jedi was excrement. I don't think fans are owed anything, but TLJ made me angry because it cost us what could have been a good film. I think they owed more to the legacy of the story they were continuing.

Lucas brought us things none of the new films have been able to do. While I didn't love the second trilogy, and think he could have done with the same editorial guidance he had with the first, each of those films had scenes I absolutely loved. Spectacular moments.

We're two films into the final trilogy and there hasn't been a single scene I care to ever see again, and I've tried. I just can't watch these films again, not even the first, which I really enjoyed in the cinema.

Lots of terrible movies make a lot of money. Most people honestly don't care about story. The final trilogy isn't actually telling a story, and that's my biggest problem. It's a series of two dimensional set pieces strung together, and there is absolutely no character depth or development.

As much as I don't think likes should be counted, I'm glad this post got me my 40k like.

So her character has issues huh.. I was thinking that if she doesn't have a solid script then she needs to be a really good actress cause she will get totally outshined by Linda and Mackenzie.

I will see that movie in a week or two I was hyped about it cause overall the people behind it seemed to care a tad more then just the money aspect and I'm not super picky either I know it's hard to come close to T1 and T2 so I just need it to be better then T3/4/5.
