I'm curious as to which scenes you thought were badass? When I think about this movie very little of it felt epic to me. Holdo going lightspeed through those ships looked pretty cool. The fight with Kylo and Ren against the guards was alright the first watch. Then when I looked at it closer it was made pretty badly and still made Rey look very Mary Sueish.

I can't look at any of Luke's scenes without cringing at what they did.
The whole thing feels epic. The way Luke channeled so much energy he finally got to die. Something hes clearly wanted.

The entire confontration with Kylo. The sunset, red sand. The fight Finn has with Plasma while the Firsr Orders ship is crashing

I just liked all of it. Yodas cameo.

Doesn't it feel wrong at all to be saying this in his first movie after Return of the Jedi?

Nah. This series is about the new characters. I actually thought his death was cool

I didnt like Leia flying and coming back to life. Evil luke was kinda stupid. Other than that its epic

It's utterly flabbergasting people don't like Luke in this one. I get the whole stuck on the island wankery is hard to tolerate, and that he's the guy who faced down Vader and Palpatine empty-handed or whatever. But when I say it back to myself what he did: at the Resistance's darkest hour, the greatest Jedi who ever lived returned to face the Empire (fuck synonyms), and was victorious without landing a single blow or killing anyone. He gave up his life in the single most powerful use of the Force, and became the legend we already thought he was.

Before the legend, he was a man who suffered fear, doubt, anger, and frustration -- and almost succumbed to the Dark Side, but of course he didn't. Of course, because he is Luke Skywalker.

Everytime I bring up that video of his showdown I have to watch it all the way through, and every time how chilling is his perfection.

I know!

Movie does not live up to their expectations, financially.
Fans complain in droves.
A boycott is done for Solo from said fans.
Talks about executives firing those that were responsible.

But we, the majority, were the ones that have it wrong.

YES! 100 pages! A lot of chopsocky horseshit but I can't believe it. We made it, mama!

God, I do not get Linkin Park. Do I get Linkin Park?

Your post proves this. I saw this abomination once, that was all I needed. “Turn your brain off” I'm only half trolling by the way. dont take it so serious.

I really don't know why Luke would want to die. He made a big mistake and now his nephew who he trained is on a rampage killing a ton of innocent people. Luke would want to help not die. The ending would have been a lot cooler IMO if Luke survived and was able to help more in the next movie. That would make the trick with the hologram that much more impactful. If he really had to die then why not put him there to actually have an epic battle instead of just dodging everything.

He said he came to the island to die. Hes clearly not the same Luke from 30 years ago. Hes an old man.

They dont need to keep Luke on as a key role in the series. Hes old and could die like Carrie and then they have no movie.

The scene was emotional for me. I thought it was well done.

What ive learned is you just cant please star wars fans.

They bitched the force awakens just followed the same formula and sucked

Last Jedi had all sorts of unique and unpredictable scenes. Omg they ruined star wars!

These movies are atleast well acted and flow well. Amazing shots and action scenes. You guys need to smoke a big bowl and try and quit hating and rewatch this shit

Wasn't he training new jedi just recently? I don't see how he could be THAT different. That doesn't feel like growing older, that feels like them rewriting the character to fit their movie.
