Really no one gives a fuck. Considering its canon and the Star Wars books continue to be top sellers I'd say lots of people care.

And no c3po isn't a big selling character. You can go on Amazon and look at how his toys sell.
This isn't hidden knowledge between me and a buddy. It's statistical info given on Amazon.

I don't think I saw a director's commentary track on the BluRay. I need more explanations on these characters.

Im not saying you're wrong. I heard that somewhere too and it makes some sense.

But is there some reason you know it for a fact? Or did you hear it on the internet and believe it?
 
Every time I watch it, the movie gets worse. I keep finding stupid little things that piss me off.

As opposed to how much Lucas himself didn't with the three films before the Force Awakens? lol.

Lucas basically ass fucked this franchise into near irrelevance with those three movies. They're absolute abominations. There were more redeeming qualities in the side scrolling SNES games than those three films, lol.

Yes, Lucas fucked up the prequels. That doesn't make The Force Awakens any better. The acting, cinematography, special effects (minus Snoke), and music production were all good. However, the storyline wasn't. Aside from the obvious, that it was a blatant ripoff of a New Hope, there were so many small problems that it got a bit ridiculous.

Oh, actually, it does.

Comparatively speaking this is the first Godfather compared to that shit. This is the Deer Hunter and those movies are Gigli, Ishtar and Spice World.

You just named 4 things that made it good and 1 that made it bad. Also the storyline was the same as a New Hope which was good.

TFA is the top grossing movie of all time domestically (U.S.), beating Titanic and Avatar.

Worldwide, TFA is just No. 3 of all time.

Damn. James Cameron has successfully fended off Star Wars twice now. I remember all the talk about TPM being able to beat Titanic, before it opened too.

If I was Disney, I'd be sending out some feelers to James Cameron to direct a Star Wars flick. Guy clearly has the magic formula.

Right at 935 million domestic currently. If they do a rerelease right before Rogue One, it could put it over 950 and maybe even hit a cool billion.
