The best part of all this nonsense is it doesn't really matter on a micro level.
I just spent the better part of two days making a roasted tomato sauce using a food mill to mash up my veggies and simmering the concoction with a mix of beef, pork, and veal.
Trans Stormtroopers can't fuck with my Spaghetti.

No freaking idea. I let them live their life hoping the loud ones leave me alone. I do have a few friends in the community and I know it's not easy for them, but they are the normal quiet ones. One of them unfortunately committed suicide almost 6 years ago because his family didn't accept him.

Do you do the new fake meat subs?
I had some GFs who were veggie or vegan and I always hated using weird veggie meat.
This was before the whole Impossible Meat thing.
I just got good at cooking vegetarian.

sorry to hear that. it’s pretty fucking awful that the anti trans people will paint trans suicides as the result of their personal regret over transitioning, when in reality, it’s often cases similar to your what your friend experienced
 
I am curious how much pandering Disney need to do before the people it is pandering to will actually speak up about how much of this is just virtue signalling cash grab and Disney isn't really for the values of equality and inclusivity.

I'm not sure about the news or agenda they are pushing over in Western countries. But here, most people know the reason for suicides is because of social and family pressure/nonacceptance.

There are plenty of good and decent people in the community. I have zero issues with them living the life they want. I think most people don't mind as well. It's the loud ones that most people don't like. But then again, some of the loud ones at least the initial group, became loud to fight for rights. It just degraded slowly to shitty opinions being forced just like all movements. Metoo, Blacklivesmatters, Feminism, DEI. All started with good intention, imho, but as they grow bigger and bigger, some get twisted into something "bad". Happens to all things I guess.

Hope I don't get carded for this lmao.

I eat some alternatives but not often. They’re usually like a special treat. Like tomorrow I’m going to a thanksgiving dinner and they got me a tofurky lol. I like the impossible and light life burgers but they’re quite unhealthy so again, a treat lol.
