Star Wars Megathread

I feel like Grogu is gone from Mando and will probably show up in Tano's series.
No. I have spoken. Besides, Ahsoka was too stingy to train Grogu and pushed him to Luke.

I thought they were gonna try to build up each SW show to climax in something crossover at the end. Grogu's gotta appear in ALL the shows. This is the way.

Hmmmmmm....

Gina tweeting out what looks to be concept art of triple suns.

Interesting.

Very interesting indeed.

The thing is about Grogu, which they've written themselves into a corner if they want to maintain their own canon, is he's still practically a 'baby' although he was newborn during the events of Ep3 and Mandolorian takes place 10 years after Ep6.

That's 35 years he went from being a newborn to being the human equivalent of being two years old.

So unless he suddenly gets a growth spurt, how are they going to have him in other shows that take place shortly after Mandolorian S2? What significance will he have other than having a short cameo whenever a character goes to meet Luke?

Hell, in another 100 years he'll be the equivalent of a 10 year old. But I'm sure Disney can speed up his lifecycle and development to an extent.

Slower aging means more years of Grogu cuteness and he's demonstrated mastery over the gentle art of ragdolling Stormtroopers, so he'll come in handy in Star Wars battles.

I'm sure more time with Luke will mean Grogu's memories of his mysterious past will be revealed.

Seems like Crosshair is a very cunning squad leader and makes you wonder why Hunter was Bad Batch leader instead of Crosshair.

Got a question for you guys who watch everything star wars (especially the cartoons).

I saw clip of Yoda and Anakin going after Palp and Dooku - and in that scene Anakin kills Dooku (chops his head the same way as the movie) how does this fit into the movies (are the movies ignored or the cartoon? Was that a clone of Dooku or something.

Anyhow, Watching Bad Batch and enjoying it (first two episodes) even though I'm not big on the cartoons).

If you know the series, season & episode number you were watching that would be more helpful, but I think what you're referring too is Season 6 Episode 12 of Clone Wars.

Yoda voyages to the heart of the galaxy to an ancient world that is one of the wellsprings of the Force and the source of midi-chlorians. Yoda undergoes difficult trials administered by the Five Priestesses that hold the secret to immortality that Qui Gon Jinn told him about.

In this episode... yoda is given trials which are mocked up by the priestesses in Yoda's mind so that they seem real to him but he's in a simulation. A dream. So in this case it was letting Yoda see the future.

Never has there been a more pathetic sounding I can do a little bit of it.

Of what? Of holding the phone steady? Because firstly no....

It's like the scene in Tombstone where Johnny Ringo is showing off his pistol skills!

And yeah, that "I can do a little bit of it.." was just pure weaksauce.
