Kinda funny to see Wrecker get one-shot ko'd by Fennec in the previous episode, but in this episode he's going toe-to-toe with an adolescent Rancor
Fennec must have used the Kill Bill/Bloodsport def touch on Wrecker.

I stacked eps 2 - present & am glad I did, because it leveled out the less "significant to the main story line" eps by moving right on to the others right after.

I binge watched the Clone Wars series that way. I can see how much different it is to watch something week by week & get a bit of a side story that doesn't really contribute a lot to the main story line... but to me... a story told in the Star Wars universe doesn't always have to tie in & have a dramatic effect on the big story lines. Just give me a cool story in the Star Wars universe & I feel like it's a nice contrast to the big epic story lines at the forefront.

It's kind of like how they always show the exotic critters scurrying around randomly as they change location scenes. Like when they're landing on their destination planet... they'll show a couple of lizardz doing something funny before getting back to the people who are actually landing. Similarly... I think they do that with whole episodes. It's how Clone Wars was done for sure. They'd throw in a side story.

Personally I like it.

Now, a new report indicates that Lucas may be bankrolling an upcoming Star Warstrilogy, effectively taking back much of the creative control he lost when sitting Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy was put in charge of the Star Wars galaxy.

It is important to note that this information remains entirely unconfirmed by either The Walt Disney Company or Lucasfilm. Furthermore, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek recently announced that Kennedy’s tenure with Disney will continue, at least for the foreseeable future.

Lightsabers technically only have weight in the hilt so getting lightsaber combat shown correctly onscreen is tough.

Imagine swordfighting with a flashlight.

Oh, I think we’ve all imagined that plenty of times lmao

Same. The Clone Wars was the best thing that happened to the prequels. Especially for Anakin's character and made seeing him in Return Of The Jedi much sadder.

Luke being the only guy left in the universe who loved him and hadn’t given up on him even though he hadn’t seen the good side (his clone wars adventures) actually enhanced Luke’s character and the whole arc. Quite an achievement, all things considered.

What's in it for George to risk a ton of his own money? It's not as if Disney will just grant him supreme authority over Star Wars where KK can't sabotage it.

Damn, kinda want to see this in live action, maybe if they ever bring Triple Zero into a show

Just finished the last Thrawn novel.

Good but not great. As others have said, Thrawn is regulated to more of a background character who comes in and kicks ass when needed.

I would say that less is more when you have a character of that sort, but Zahn has already shown he can have Thrawn be the main character in other novels, do badass stuff and not have it get stale, so I'm not sure where building these other Chiss up is helping any.

I'll give it a 7/10

Enough with Senior Captain Thrawn of the Acendancy, give me more Grand Admiral Thrawn of the Galactic Empire.

Saw an article suggest Mandalorian Season 3 is delayed until late 2022 because Obi Wan show is using The Volume I'm guessing even though they built a Star Wars village set in UK I think and Mando lead actor is busy doing Last of Us live action.

On a podcast, I think they said Kanan from Rebels was in Bad Batch, but I don't recall that unless he was the apprentice in Ep 1 who got away from Order 69.

Edit: I think they used his real name, not Kanan Jarus. I think even the same voice actor was used.

Instead of them retards building a physical Star Wars village, they should have built another LED screen The Volume soundstage so Obi could film there and not occupy Mandalorian's The Volume. I'm guessing Obi's show will suck compared to Mando.

Book of Boba better have some Grogu if they gonna make us wait another year and it better be good enough to be considered Mando season 2.5. Gonna need Bossk, IG-11/88, Dengar, etc.

I feel like Grogu is gone from Mando and will probably show up in Tano's series.
