Star Wars Megathread

I am looking forward to Loki though in a few weeks. I know, it's not Star Wars, but it's Disney property and I think it'll do well. Tom Hiddleston is an awesome actor, for me, the best in the MCU

Remember when WandaVision teased an epic cameo, on par with the Luke reveal? Then we were confused, was it Wanda's brother Pietro? Nope....that wasn't it. Then apparently it was supposed to be Dr Strange....but even if, there's no way in hell that equates to Luke coming in

I like the MCU but I hope they're going in the right direction

You guys think they should just end Mando?

I don't think it can go anywhere, the whole show was basically Baby Yoda. So if he's not around, do you think the show will last?

That was the perfect way to end it. Go on with other stories

With Baby Yoda & Cara Dune gone and Pablo Pascal being a drama queen the show's best days are behind them.

I'd be FAR more interested in a series with Sebastian Stann as Luke Skywalker with Baby Yoda.

You're right actually. Maybe run Book of Boba with Mando as a side character, have a Luke and Baby Yoda series and Asoka Tano vs Thrawn.

hey bud, you finish the latest Thrawn book?

Not gonna lie, I struggled through that one, I liked the other ones so much better.

I think it's because Thrawn was more a back story in this novel, maybe it's just me.

Actually no. Lots of stuff going on with me right now, I do have a big move coming and staying in a place with few distractions, so I will most likely binge it then.

I'm feeling it's another Thrawn of the Chiss Acendancy backstory, when what I want is Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn fucking up the Rebellion.

For you bud, reactions to Ahsoka asking "where is Grand Admiral Thrawn"

Thanks!

I wish I would've recorded my own but I was legit surprised and fanboyed the fuck out, thankfully my family was away and didn't see me going 100% need.

Probably one of my favorite scenes, was expecting Gideon or even Snoke to be homegirls Master.... Thrawn dropped like a fucking bomb.

No way end Mandalorian. It could only get better with Luke training Grogu and no more Gina. Grogu's still got at least another few hundred years of cuteness left to showcase.

I want to see more interactions with other Mandos, more scenes and storytelling to motivate more toy purchases. They need to work in the Jedi Starfighter/Interceptor from Clone Wars cartoon so I can buy that in TVC scale.

Gotta have more Mando & Boba team ups too. Maybe see who is the more capable Mando in a one on one showdown.

Also want to see more survivors of Order 66... and maybe some eventually turned towards Sith.

My son is 6, trying to get him to watch A New Hope, he reckons he'll get scared ha ha

I think they can pull it off even if Grogu isn't traveling with Mando. They have a lot of rich characters to work with & they're gearing up to re-take Mandalore. We can still get our fix by following Luke & Grogu a bit too.

Maybe they want to let these other series' catch up a bit & tell their stories. It makes sense because they're obviously leading that show towards the re-taking of Mandalore. I'm assuming Thrawn will be the big bad... & so the Ahsoka show needs to play out so that we can get Thrawn into the mando series. Retaking Mandalore should definitely be under the Mandalorian title imo.

I saw an article rumor last night citing 3 diff stickers given to the Book of Boba Fett crew that said "Season One" that Book of Boba Fett is more than one season.

Why do the animated series continue to outclass the main series in nuance and philosophical density?

It's fucking embarrassing and awesome at the same time. Bad Batch has been incredible so far.

I think because they can take more risks than the live action, hype characters before they hit the screen and flesh out smaller things from the live action.

For Example: Thrawn coming back as hinted in Mando is not just cool for an OG like me, but because Rebels built him and tied his fate with Ezra. Did a great job of blending old fans and new. Asoka Tano on the flipside, since I had no clue about her before the animated series.

That's where my future ex-wife was born.

They started out the Clone Wars series with her big introduction, & fascinating skill set  Her banter & suggestive looks won me over instantly. She'z so well dun... & Filoni'z found a winning combination with Rosario for live action.

Fun little episode today of Bad Batch.

Kinda funny to see Wrecker get one-shot ko'd by Fennec in the previous episode, but in this episode he's going toe-to-toe with an adolescent Rancor

I wonder sometimes if they dumb lines and plots down for the actors rather than the audience.

“I’m afraid the lead couldn’t follow the plot, could you rewrite?”

“Sigh”
