In early March the Disney CEO said:
“We’ve been absolutely thrilled that we can have the kind of talent like Kathy Kennedy to direct Lucasfilm… We look forward to having Kathleen Kennedy running the Lucasfilm organization for many years to come.”

Now it is April and you never know with this big corporation, plans change and they could always give PR answers while already having different plans in motion.
After a quick google not a lot of sites are reporting on this recent news/rumors and the small site that has the story is claiming the source of a reddit user. Wait a week and we will see if other big news outlets pick up the story then you know for sure so far not that trusted of a source.
What was fishy to me was the claims that there is a battle inside LucasFilm between Favreau / Filoni vs Pablo Hidalgo. Now I don't buy that Hidalgo really has the importance and gravitas to appose both of them he isn't at that power level unless this is some sort of proxy play with KK behind him, who knows at this point just rumors.

Went to disney over the weekend and did the Rise of the Resistance ride. Did not like the new trilogy, but the ride was awesome.

Brother I am hurt you would ask...only downside is a high level work conference I'm attending right now means I don't want to...fuck shit hell...have any distractions that will keep me up late because I will binge the fuck out of it...so for once I'll wait on a Zahn novel....fuck shit ass....fuck work and my career....
 
Posted this in the other chat, but thought some here may be interested.

New issue of the Vader comic dropped this week. For those that don't know, this series takes place after TESB. And Vader has had the absolute shit beat out of him by Palpatine, and a bunch of "tests" that Palps had for him, hence his weird arm and leg in the comic panels down below. He lost both and scavenged some robot parts to get by for the time being

Anyway, on one of these 'tests', he uncovered a wayfinder to Exegol, and while exploring what is there, he sees a hand floating in one of the tanks.

Speculation is possibly Luke's hand. That and with Grogu's blood being taken in Mando series has a bunch of theories rolling around

I remember JJ contemplating having The Force Awakens start with Luke's hand holding the saber floating through space, after the opening scroll had finished. I thought that would've been a cooler intro but guess it didn't fly with Disney

Anyway, gotta get on that Thrawn book this weekend. And Bad Batch is out in a few more days

Bad Batch premiere was lacking something and not satisfying.
