I’ve been tackling Claudia Gray’s High Republic book, Into the Dark

It’s pretty good.

Charles Soule has the main story line, and the Claudia book is an off-shoot, or a side story of the main story line

I forget... did you read Soule's "Light of the Jedi" already? how was that (assuming the answerz yes. )
Where does the comic series fit in on all this.

You're so on top of it all, but I'm kind of stacking it so I'm curious to pick your brain a bit.

Damn, seeing these older actors pass away just makes you realize how quickly time is passing

I had a chance to meet Peter Mayhew at a Fan Expo years ago. I knew his health was deteriorating and kinda wanted to meet the dude. My friend and I were at the expo getting excited to meet him at our designated time, then we got an alert that he had cancelled, citing health issues

Sucks seeing these actors from our childhood films move on

Soule’s book is like the main thing right now, with all the other books and comics just being side stories to the main book

For instance, I know you read issue #1 of the High Republic comic. But that Trandoshan Jedi master in the comic, only has 1 arm. Well in Soule’s book, there is a battle where he actually loses that arm

You managed a rare feat when you convinced me to watch week by week. I haven’t done that in well over 10 years, as I’ve been stacking every show for the last decade. Sometimes I even wait until there are 4-5 seasons out before starting. I’m going to wait another couple of years before starting Cobra Kai for example.
