Topps Star Wars Living Set Darth Bane card released recently limited to 2548 copies print run.

Looks diff from the cover of the 3 Star Wars books. I now see this is the depiction from the Clone Wars lost missions season.

I've always pictured him as some bald buff dude, this guy looks like Nightmare from SoulCalibur

thats the bane in his full armor as a sith holocron or whatever in his tomb.

no Jar Jar in the obi-wan series.

this is devastating news.

He looks as you described on the book covers. Also looks like upcoming 6" G.I. Joe Classified Zartan action figure.

This week's Topps Star Wars Living Set includes Cobb Vanth from Mandalorian with the actor's likeness. Pass.

This is in a Canon book for ep 8.

I can show more of Lucas' vision if you're interested.

I have no issue with Luke dying, but did Lucas have him as a disgruntled hermit who not only was a inch from murdering his nephew, but turned his back on everything and everyone he loved/believed in?

From what Ive heard be kinda did a yoda

Published by : Disney.

The biggest sin of The Last Jedi regarding Luke wasn't that he died at the end. The biggest sin was having him... after refusing to kill his own father and ultimately redeemed him... attempt to kill his own nephew (Son of his best friend and sister) in his sleep for force-skyping with Snoke.

He fails, leading to the murders of everyone he was training at the Jedi Temple... and then abandons his friends, family, and entire galaxy to the First Order so he could go die on an island planet alone.

And at the end of TLJ, does Luke at least fly in on his X-Winh to save his own sister and entire resistance? Nope, he sends in a force projection of himself across the entire galaxy, which somehow causes the 2nd most powerful Jedi ever (next to Anakin) to die... somehow... by using the force?

It was pissing on fans's 34 years of anticipation to see one of their childhood heroes returning to the big screen... and their hero turned out to be a failure.

This doesn't retort that Lucas had Luke die in Ep. 8. That book I posted you is Canon, & so that is indisputable information.

Also, this doesn't seem like something the maker of a movie would write about its own product... do you have a link? If it was actually published under the Disney banner, then it musta been some disgruntled employee or something. I would be extremely surprised if it was a signed & approved statement from Disney as a whole.

They even misreprsented what actually happened in the movie. Luke didn't "attempt" to kill Kylo. He had a fleeting intention overcome him but he never attempted anything. He stood their in regret that Kylo had woken up at the point that he freaked out & pulled his saber.

& he actually did attack his Dad before calming down... so to make that comparison is a bit silly. Whomever wrote this doesn't seem to be any kind of authority on anything Star Wars.

Luke Skywalker Died In George Lucas' Star Wars: Episode 9

Mark Hamill reveals Luke Skywalker died in George Lucas' version of Star Wars: Episode 9, back when Lucas was developing a sequel trilogy.

When it comes to credibility :
Mark Hamill > Kathleen Kennedy.

I have no issue with Luke dying, but did Lucas have him as a disgruntled hermit who not only was a inch from murdering his nephew, but turned his back on everything and everyone he loved/believed in?
Yes, hermit & frustrated Luke was Lucas' creation. It was communicated to the art department in mid Jan 2013 for concept art that came out looking exactly like the movie. @GearSolidMetal inquired about this a while back as well.

Skip the part about Rey if you like, but it's interesting too because she was also a Lucas creation... just had a different name.

That is the canon book in that second half: Star Wars Fascinating Facts - by Pablo Hidalgo

Here's an instagram from the LucasFilm employee who drew frustrated Hermit Luke concept art off of George's description. In case you didn't know... the sale was day before halloween 2012, & Lucas sat down with the art crew at Skywalker ranch in mid Jan 2013. That's when this guy got the concept from Lucas

Read the caption. That's what this guy's instructions were.
here's another one, though he didn't reveal it was Lucas' concept.... he did in the one just above, so that's a dun deal.

The following is the fantastic article... & I don't think that's an exaggeration to say that. This dude really did some great research & he actually updates this article periodically as well.
