He's only somewhat annoying in TNG. His real career in annoyance got going once he got old and fat, and became a professional SJW.
YES!
Kim and Paris are indeed pussies. They could have been such interesting characters, too. What a shame.
Janeway is just kind of off-putting, not sure why. Maybe the voice.
Tuvok is a travesty. He plays the part like an android, not a Vulcan. So terrible.
Chakotay is just kind of a douche.
Seven is a little over the top, but acceptable.
Which leaves us the Doctor. I guess he was the only worthwhile character in the series.
All this adds up to rank VOY as the worst series in the franchise. Yes, worse than Enterprise. Trek is a character driven franchise, and ENT had some good characters with depth. I will grant that Archer was terrible though.
but how did you really feel?
I think VOY was the most hit and miss, depending on a given story arc. I liked Janeway and Torez. I liked the idea of Nelix's character but not its execution.
I certainly would have liked Neelix's execution
you guys are crazy, neelix was an important character. i was crying when he left.
I wasn't that serious.
I hated Kes way more
Haven'y heard about it, but it would surely impact them. They had a writers strike before season 2 of TNG, and it caused major problems. They had a shortened season, and used scripts that were leftover from TOS, phase 2, and book submissions.I am reading about a looming writers guild strike.
Would that have an impact on Discovery?
She aged quite dramatically in just a few years. I guess they figured out pretty quick that she had a screw loose. Jeri Ryan was a huge improvement. I read in the "these are the voyages" book, that the entire cast and crew quickly hated Lin. The entire crew loved Ryan, expect for Mulgrew, who was jealous of her success on the show.kes was really fucking annoying
also massive when she came back for that one episode.
They had discussions with him for over a year about appearing in Discovery, and when the time came they offered him less than 1% of what he last got paid to portrayed Worf.Apparently Michael Dorn turned down a role in Discovery because they offered ridiculously little money.
btw wtf is "Battle Force: Andromeda"? It appears to be starring the actors of Kes, Janeway and Kurn, but I never heard of it.

Both. She became th poster child and was the one featured in magazines and stuff. Mulgrew thought she was just a floozy who got the role because she was banging Brandon Braga(which she was). But she had a great attitude and personality and won over fans and the cast. Mulgrew complained to much of the cast and crew, and called a meeting with everyone and tried to get them to fire Jeri Ryan. No one sided with her, and it caused quite a bit of tension.Success? Or looks? Because Trek has had many beautiful women over the years but IMO Ryan reigns supreme.
