Crime Stanford journal of medicine: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is a massive fraud

Good job Colorado.

Lol @ Kentucky having insufficient data. I live here. Porkers are EVERYWHERE. The fatty from the my 500lbs life or whatever it's called (TLC show) lives in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Rob, you're comment is quite funny considering we just lived through Republicans crying for 2 years about the libs coming to steal their gas stoves.
What do gas stoves have to do with eating like shit? It’s way easier to control temp with gas than those garbage electric burners. You kidding?

Here's Stanford trained physician Casey Means explaining what she didnt learn from her time at Stanford.

To be fair, doctors are trained to prescribe medicine and to recognize surgical diseases. Most doctors offices have a nutritionist and I’d say a very small percentage of my patients with diabetes, pre diabetes, and/or obesity actually take me up on a consultation with ours.

I make sure every type 2 diabetic I see gets it in their head that if they want to avoid insulin and serious future complications that the lifestyle is just as important as the medicine. If you continue to eat shit and remain sedentary, eventually you’ll need more and more meds until you require insulin.

I'm just interested what they do and how much it infringes on freedoms. Should people have the right to be a fat fuck in a free country if they want to?
No one is saying to ban what people eat. It’s what is in the food that they are unaware of.
Typo brother.

Do you believe that gas stove fumes are good for you?
When properly ventilated to code, it’s a non-issue. Who frames it like that!?

There is actually truth in this. A lot of classic medical school educations focused on reacting to conditions as the happen and not so much in lifestyle and prevention. This takes us into the MD vs DO debate which you should look into if you are actually interested in learning about it and not about some stupid partisan politic stuff. Suffice to say that both approachs have their place, but the DO approach to medicine was overlooked in favor of the MD approach for a long time and we now see the potential consequences of that.

So yes, she is saying something worthwhile here. However, no one should take this to mean we should listen to bat shit crazy RFK. That absolutely is not the take away from her message.
Fair enough and we shouldnt take Rfk at face value. It seems that people arent giving him a fair shake and are only arguing against positions percieved as insane. He says alot of good shit as well that is omitted in these critiques.

Sort of like how you won't be a fat fuck if you aren't drinking seed oils by the gallon?

The ingredients have to be on the food in America right?

I do think there should be standardised ways of wording ingredients, but a lot of it is a bit of an education issue imo.

It will be interesting to see how people react if he bans McDonalds or something.
I’m all for giving people better tools and knowledge to make their minds up. I think fast food is meant to keep people unhealthy and poor. I just think it’s funny that people think the trump admin and rfk jr are going to be the ones to do it.

I also think that in this day and age nobody is buying a McDonalds or a tub of ben and jerries and genuinely thinking they're eating a healthy meal.

How often do you read them? Do you know all the chemical compounds and their cumulative impact on your health?

Nothing wrong with letting people know something may not be good for you as long long as its presented in easy to understand context and amount.

Like just as an example saying an ingredient is bad for you and can cause cancer. Then you find out in the study they feed the ingredient to rats in the equivalent to humans of say 26 pounds of it a day for 20 years and saw some evidence of a cancer starting to form.

I believe you should inform but not ban in most but not all cases.

Dunno if you have anything similar in the US but in the UK we have a colour coding system that's on any kind of processed food packaging.

not the perfect system but it at least gives some idea as to whether what you're putting into your body is shit or not.

No but that's on me.
It’s not on you. We can’t simultaneously say getting a voter ID is too difficult for some people in the population but they should be able to read and understand complex chemical compounds on their ultra processed foods.

We need less processed foods and less additives and preservatives.

Look at the health statistics since the introduction of HFCS in the US. Look at the health statistics since the introductions of chemical preservatives in our foods.
